Funny thing is you do not accept things from the bible because you have been shown many verses that shown who Christ was. Yet let me ask you a question did God save man or did man save man? If we praise a man in Jesus Christ then we are idolators unless we praise Emmanuel God with us in Jesus Christ.
I am frankly astounded to be asked such a question. Jesus is the son of God and became flesh. It is his death on the cross that saves us.
I can assure you no-one has quoted me any verse that says Jesus is God the Father, neither can you. There is no direct quote to say that in the NT.
But I will quote the plain emphatic words of the Apostle Paul, which I am sure you will not accept.
Then the end will come
when he (Jesus) hands over the kingdom to God the Father) after he has destroyed all dominion authority and power.
For he must
reign until he has put all his enemies under his feet. vcThe last enemy to be destroyed is death. For He (God) has put everything under his feet.
Now when it says that everything has been put under him,
it is clear that this does not include God Himself who put everything under Christ.
When he has doner this
then the Son Himself will be made subject to him who put eveything under him, so that God may be all in all. 1Cor15:24-28
But as you will not accept these plain and very emphatic verses of scripture I am sure you will; not accept anything else I may add. But I repeat nowhere in the NT does it say that Jesus is God the Father. The Apostle Paul clearly states Jesus is not. Who should I believe? Your interpretation of scripture? Or the Apostle Paul's plain words over five c9ntinuous verses.
