No place in scripture are we told that the return to collect believers, and the return to set up his kingdom (boots on the ground) are the same occurrence.

But you want to make it that. So you will not see it any other way.

1Jn 3:2-3 Beloved, now are we children of God, and it is not yet made manifest what we shall be. We know that, if he shall be manifested, we shall be like him; for we shall see him even as he is. And
every one that hath this hope set on him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.

This is the second coming as it applies to His people. We shall see Christ in His glory, and we shall be made like Him. Then He will appear to all in His glory.
This is a reference to the Resurrection/Rapture, NOT the second coming of Christ.

In the Resurrection/Rapture Christ comes FOR His saints.

In the second coming Christ comes WITH His saints.

Between these two events we have the Marriage of the Lamb. So it cannot possibly be all one event. In fact, that would be absurd.

Brother EG,

Sorry it took so long to respond, but we lost service here, it happens sometimes.

Can you give the scripture, for when we finally see Jesus like He was with Moses, when Moses saw Him?

The judgement throne in Rev 20?

Is that the first time that we see His face? The face that no man can see and live?

when you have your ressurected Body. Because until then, no one can look at his face and live. No one!

If he returned to earth with that face. No one on earth would survive, Evenb those who are Gods children would die immediately at the sight of him

The resur/rapt is the second coming. The second coming for salvation Heb 9:28, resurrection.

In the Resurrection/Rapture Christ comes FOR His saints.

In the second coming Christ comes WITH His saints.
They are both the same event.

The saints that Jesus brings with Him are the OT saints.

When He comes for us, they will be with Jesus already.

Between these two events we have the Marriage of the Lamb. So it cannot possibly be all one event. In fact, that would be absurd.
The marriage supper of the Lamb can only take place after the kingdom is delivered up to the Father.

1 Cor 15:23-28 says that the kingdom is delivered up to the Father, After death is destroyed Rev 20:14-15.

So the marriage cannot take place until after death is destroyed.

My point exactly.

Don't we get new bodies at the resur/rapt?

Don't we see His Face in heaven? After the rapt/resur?

But then, how can we return here? After being in His presence in heaven?

Back to sin and the flesh?

Sure we receive our brand new bodies at the time of Christ second coming / rapture. As far as coming back down to this sin cursed earth it will not exist as we know it. Remember God said he will destroy it and make it entirely new again without sin or being cursed.

Then we will be like Him. But what does that mean?

Will He be as Moses saw Him on the Mount? Or just an ordinary dude?

Will we see His face in Glory and then return to the material planet earth?

As far as coming back down to this sin cursed earth it will not exist as we know it.
As long as there is flesh, there will be sin.

There was sin and temptation in the garden, we won't go back to Eden.

Remember God said he will destroy it and make it entirely new again without sin or being cursed.
Which earth is that?

Planet earth? It will be destroyed by fire.

Hello Carl11,

Remember God said he will destroy it and make it entirely new again without sin or being cursed.

Just FYI, this present heaven and earth do not pass away until after the thousand year reign of Christ. See Rev.20:11 and Rev.21 which takes place after the millennial period. Otherwise, how could the following promise be fulfilled?

"To the one who is victorious and does my will to the end, I will give authority over the nations—that one ‘will rule them with an iron scepter and will dash them to pieces like pottery’ —just as I have received authority from my Father.

How could a believer who is victorious, have authority over the nations upon the new heaven and new earth, when at that time everyone will be in their immortal and glorified bodies? Having authority over the nations is speaking about those who will have been resurrected and will be in their immortal and glorified bodies ruling over the nations with Christ during the millennial period.

* Gathering of the church

* The wrath of God via the seals, trumpets and bowl judgments during the last seven years

* The Lord's return to the earth to end the age

* Millennial kingdom

* End of the millennial kingdom

* Great white throne judgment

* New heaven, new earth, new Jerusalem, eternity ................................................

I think that people should really stop creating theology based on Revelation.

What does that have to do with Christ coming to earth set up his kingdom. And the whole world worshipping christ? I will not be here when that happens. So that does not affect me.

An end to this world system has been promised other places in Scripture...

“What shall be the sign of thy coming, and of
the end of the world?”
(Matthew 24:3, KJV).

Jesus gave a slew of signs before saying,
And then the end shall come.

Among others, also 2 Peter 3:13~

But according to his promise we are waiting for new
heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells.

What does that have to do with Christ coming to earth

Everything, brother.

He sits on the heavenly throne of God now.

Will He leave the heavenly throne and return to an earthly throne?

Will He return to a world of flesh and sin?

Will the throne of God be on earth?

A throne surrounded by sin and death, in His presence?

set up his kingdom.
The kingdom was set up at Pentecost.

The Second coming for salvation is Jesus taking possession of the kingdom.

And the whole world worshipping christ?
In the new heavens and earth, yes.

But in this world there will always be sin and death in the flesh.

Jesus rules the kingdom now, from the heavenly throne in the eternal Jerusalem.

I will not be here when that happens. So that does not affect me.
You mean that you will not be here during the mill?

Zech 14: 17 - And it shall be that whichever of the families of the earth do not come up to Jerusalem to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, on them there will be no rain.

Can you tell me why people are getting punished in heaven?

which jerusalem?

Galatians 4:25 one or the galatians 4:26 one?

The OT one, where we are told th eking will rule with a rod of Iron, and nations will come once a year to worship him, where people live in peace. But still get punished for sin. Where at the end of that reign, satan will be loved, and gather one more army which will be destroyed by Jesus before it even comes together, AND THEN the end will be.
