Look at it in context....It talks of the man first....A man covers his head he brings shame. Every man who prays or prophesies wearing something down over his head brings shame to his head, A physical HAT....Then the woman. All of a sudden that's spiritual covering....That is NOT what Paul is talking about...He's talking about a physical covering.

I'm covered by the blood of Jesus Christ.
If you walk in LOVE and obedience to the Word. If you do not do these two things you step out from under that covering. You step into the darkness where the monsters live.

It's not a physical hat. The man must not put a religious spirit between him and Christ. If he does his is under a religious spirit not Christ.
Christ is the head of the man. Christ is not a hat. He's spirit.
Sure... and spiritual hair in verse 15.

Rofl...
The hair represents a spiritual covering. The man gets his from Christ. And woman since she was made for man, gets hers spiritual covering from man.

Well sir...God allows you to believe what you want...Its your freedom of choice that He gave you.....Really though...It makes more sense to believe His Word as He says it...And to not tell Him what He means when He talks.

Sorry if it upsets you. what you are saying is that a hat will protect women from the devils schemes. In that case what kind of amour is Jesus telling us to put on, when he says put on the full armor of God.

Why would I be upset? Believe me, I'm not. But I am saying that you won't get anywhere telling God what He means when He talks.

What I am saying is what I've already said. A head covering for the woman is to show that she is under authority. And that is because of the angels

No offence, but you should pray and ask God to help you to understand spiritually. That is why he told the people parables, because they couldn't understand spiritual things, so he made it earthy. I am a woman too. I know this is true because I have been knocked down several times, until I was taught by the holy spirit to stay in my lane. And to stop trying to exalt myself, because I thought I was so full of the knowledge of God. Sometimes I found out I have to just be quiet.

Well if you have a problem with wearing hats in church read on. Paul says clearly that we don't bother with such things

Well 1 Timothy is like the leading scripture for this. It has been deemed a forgery among scholars, but of course, Christians don't care about facts or history, unless it is convenient for them.

And who was the genius that decided it is a forgery? And why should I give a deem what he thinks?

It wasn't just one "genius", and you don't have to give a "dam". I am just stating facts. Some of the pastoral epistles are the easiest to debunk. Tradition is the only thing that maintains their "validity". Historically, they have been proven to not have been written by Paul. By definition, that is a forgery.

Asserting something significant such as the idea that 1 Timothy was not written by Paul, without providing evidence when asked to do so, suggests that you don't have good evidence. Put up, or shut up, as the saying goes. Claiming that you are "just stating facts" is irrelevant when said "facts" have not been established as such.

By the way, the word you deem to be spelled "dam" is actually spelled "damn".

Dude, you want me to go through the whole list of Scolars an sources and redact all the connections?

There are books and many free essays that go into very minute detail on these topics.

Take my reference and look it up for yourself, you will find ample evidence in light of my claim. Historians and other scholars have done all the leg work.

The only reason why they are not "facts" is because the church would be offended and we all know that the church is a conglomerate entity that protects its own self best interests.

Take my reference, look it up, read a few essays, maybe a book or 2 and then make your decision.

No way I can write a post. It would be a book.
