Yes,this Is work for those that have received salvation called continuous progressive sanctification.But the part where you say
We are acceptable to GOD after receiving salvation but we then have a desire to not sin and we will want to renew our minds which will be seen by men and the only way for men to know If the person Is true Is to see(physical)action called good work.

Depends on what your reasons instead are for refraining ? If they are to earn or keep salvation then the reasons are wrong. Refraining from sins even if your not saved is good . Repenting of sins is good even if your not saved. Repenting of sin is good if you are saved ( of course ) . Repenting of sin as the motivation to be saved or stay saved is not good .

sin is not even mentioned. Paul is addressing the conclusion to the preceeding 11 chapters of Romans in which he outlined salvation and righteousness

If we are already acceptable to God when we don't leave our sins, then are we doubly acceptable to God when we leave our sins? Romans 8:7 clearly indicates enmity between those who live for their flesh (sins). We are then not acceptable to the Lord if we do not leave our sins.

I do believe that the Lord expects us to do good works, from a heart that honestly loves our neighbor. This is like the Samaritan in Luke 10, who felt and had compassion for the half dead man on the road. He did not do this to do a good work, he did it because love for his neighbor was in his heart.

Hello Deutronomy, I agree that there is nothing we can do to save ourselves, and that salvation is through faith in Christ. That, however, is not the topic. The topic is the belief many have that if they were to cease their sinning, it would mean their doing a good work to attain salvation, when in fact ceasing from sinning is not any work at all.

Do you believe ceasing from sinning is the fruit of the Spirit?

The condition would be on us and not on GOD.GOD looks at the heart and GOD IS Perfect and GOD IS a SPIRIT so then GOD does not need to see physical works But man does need to see physical works to know If the person Is sincere.No man can just use his mind to see what someone Is thinking to convince someone that he Is sincere ,he has to display works that are seen first then felt.
This Is our part talking about renewing our minds to match our new selves.Like I said when we received salvation GOD accepted us and HE IS Perfect so then we don’t have to do works to be accepted by GOD and this Is a One time event.

If a person Is not In the VINE they can not receive nourishment from the VINE.
