This reminds me of the Jews that rejected Jesus. I think it's funny when I see people try and challenge God or intimidate him with their actions and speech. God is not a respecter of persons and He sure doesn't respect the worldly, biased opinion of somebody who is opposed to Him and has never known Him. The Jews wanted a warrior to come and wage war against evil, not realizing that they themselves had become wicked. When Jesus, their Savior as well as ours, came in peace they were disappointed and sought to kill him. Jesus could have called down 72,000 angels from heaven and He chose forgiveness and grace over wrath. That is the God I worship and He is only good. Yet people try to attain a relationship with God through some kind of human understanding. It doesn't quite work that way. God doesn't have to kill anybody, people do a enough of a job of killing each other and themselves nowadays unfortunately.
Your God doesn't speak anymore, now does he.

All of Gods dictation for today is writ from a 2000 year old book.

Because all people have sin and thus are not perfect.. Would it not be an evil thing to allow a human to live forever as an imperfect being ??? What a curse that would be.. Our current state of being must come to an end for us to be resurrected and transformed into Perfect beings.. Then we can exist forever and never die again as perfect beings :D

I will be glad when God ends my life... I am sick and tired of not being a perfect being..
We have to be imperfect, otherwise we'd learn nothing.

Yup, just like every teaching ever, the best way to keep record of it is through written language, which provides us a way to have a physical copy of something that was taught and eliminates the need to memorize it.

The "your teachings are from a book" is not a good argument : p Everything we teach and learn is recorded in books : p

Hebrews 9:27 "And just as it is appointed for man to die once, and after that comes judgment"

Whether you die of natural causes, of if one of us here take your life, youre going to die. The day is coming and we cant change it. Doesnt matter how it happened.

If you were to die today, and you knew the next thing that was coming was judgment for your entire life, every single thing youve done or thought, what do you think would happen to you? And keep in mind a good deed does not undo an evil deed. If I murder someone but then donate a bunch of money to charity, do I deserve to get away with murder?

The good news is that He has provided a way for us to be saved from our sins, and to live with Him forever. Is this really such an evil thing? Yes God punishes the wicked, and He also provided His own sacrifice to save them from the wrath that is coming to them, not because they deserved it, but because He loved them enough that He did it despite the fact that they have all denied Him and rebelled against Him.

Is this still evil? Though if you havre already made up your mind to deny Him then we know your answer : p
My heart will be judged on a feather.

During Jesus earthly ministry, He killed no one. He healed many, brought Lazarus back to life. He died for the salvation of the world. He offers eternal life for those who believe the Gospel.

God doesnt kill people. He allows people a choice and those people chose death instead of life.

The problem with the OP is he doesn't want to accept responsibility for his actions or choices or beliefs. Add that to the belief that the world or God "owes" him anything. Add the ungratefulness of not thanking God for life, the sun, food, ability to get on the internet, etc.

If someone choses to speed on the highway while drunk and crashes. Would you blame the manufacturer of the car?

Your body and life is the car. If you chose to crash it, don't blame the manufacturer.

Every man will face final judgement. I choose to side with the One who might pardon me on that day and write my name in the book of life forever.

Let me ask you something? If a person does not believe in God, what do they believe in? Themselves?

You're are not worthy of death, that's horrible to think that of yourself.
You are correct. Because I am covered by the Blood of Jesus Christ, who is worthy of Life. Its a free gift of great love. He was worthy, and paid my price. The Wages of sin is death.

Unless it was correct from the start? Since were talking in terms of an existing God here, ask yourself, if God is an eternal being who knew all that would happen before it even happened, why would He need to improve what He told us?

So it's a fact that the Christian God who is Jesus, kills people (Or lets say for the sake of the argument) has killed people.

God has killed millions, and not just evil people (Animals, children & infants both male and female)

How is this acceptable?
Are you trying to learn about why and who God is? Or are you trying to disprove God's Word?

Have you ever considered you have not tried to have a true relationship with our very real God. How can you ever understand a person in less you spend time, true time with God through his word, church, other believers, elders, and prayer. God does speak to everyone in different ways but usually through the Holy spirit and answering prayer. But if your eyes do not understand the spiritual side of life then you can easily miss God telling you He Loves You and all things will make since if you give it time. Trust me it's beautiful and amazing once you enter that true relationship.

God speaks into the hearts of His children and open their eyes to see past the written words in the Bible to the eternal truths contained within. Many still have the veil like the Jewish leaders demanded Moses wear when they look, and read the Bible. You can't truly understand the wisdom contained until you have the Holy Spirit to teach you.

If you approach the bible with honest scrutiny, you will find that it's not so perfect.

It's not about God not lying.

It's about humans who think that, because they believe God is found in the words of a book.
God is more than pages in a book. Some of His wisdom can be found there, but it can be found when we watch and truly contemplate nature and our world also.

We have to be imperfect, otherwise we'd learn nothing.
When we fully understand we are imperfect we seek perfection and when we are seeking perfection God shows Himself to us..

So we are here to learn something.. Many things.. And we do..

You owe it to yourself to give yourself 40 days. Ask Jesus to enter into your heart and pray God I do not fully understand but that's okay. I hear you died for my sins and I would like to grow closer to you. Help me understand your word and teachings that give extenal life.
Then the next 40 days find a church and get connected. Do small groups and attend every Sunday. Spend at least a hour or 30 min a day reading the Bible Genesis, Mark, acts, and Romans. Spend time in prayer everyday.
Most real people have asked your same questions I know I have but I did the research, study, prayed, and found elderly counseling from a preacher. Everything makes since and the impossible thing is to try and prove the Bible wrong. I guarantee you can't. Archeology, science, history, world accounts, eye witnesses, ancient scrolls, and just the concept that the Bible came to be 6000 years and fluently reads with one purpose in mind. To save all of mankind. Amazing! But you have to remember the Bible is a personal relationship book and not a history or science book even though it has plenty of it.

God does speak to us.. Through His Holy Spirit.. And if a book written 10,000 years ago stated that water was wet.. Would it be false today just because of the time since it has been written???? Nope.. The truth remains valid for a billion years..

In the OT, God DID kill off a lot of people.... people who had so perverted what God intended them to do, that they were "un-fixable".

Societies do that today, with capital punishment.

Countries do that today, with wars.

It happens all the time with natural disasters.

It is very similar to a forest fire, or a brush fire.... when trees and undergrowth get too "out of control", a fire sweeps through and cleans it all out, so that new growth can occur.

Thinking that you could (or, worse, SHOULD) second-guess the almighty God is gnostic, or AGnostic thinking at its worst. "I'm going to figure out God through HUMAN intelligence"

Knowing God, and understanding Him to the best of our puny knowledge requires faith.... faith in something other than our own puny knowledge.... no matter what your IQ happens to be.

11 Now faith is the [SUP][a][/SUP]assurance of things [SUP][b][/SUP]hoped for, the [SUP][c][/SUP]conviction of things not seen. [SUP]2 [/SUP]For by it the men of old [SUP][d][/SUP]gained approval.

I'd like to ask you, are you offended by the fact that God kills people? To me it isn't really a big deal. If God killed somebody its because they deserved it and the world is better off without them. BTW I appreciate the fact that you made an account on here, I've been waiting for someone like you to make a post.

God's plan for mankind was not sin and death . . . that was man's choice. God fixed it in that he sent his Son so that those that believe on him can be raised to eternal life.

. . . that through death he [Jesus] destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil.

That's what I don't understand.. Why did God continue to create people for thousands of years after Adam and Eve if that really wasn't his plan? Why are we cursed for something we didn't do?
