I was right -- Planet Delusional. Show me where I smacked the OP around. I defended MultilingualMessenger, a wonderful sister in Christ, but I never judged the OP for her marital decisions.

As far as hitting a nerve, I'm dating LiJo, a beautiful woman of God who I met here on CC, and she is quickly becoming the love of my life. No, Ember, you've hit no nerve with me. Quite the opposite, I hit one with you, a glaring truth at that, and you keep coming around for more.

You prove time and again that you always need to have the last word so have at it. I'm done here; say what you want about me; have the last word because I know you won't sleep well without it. :)

I have no dog in this fight. I simply wanted to congratulate you on finding love on CC. That is wonderful !! God bless the two of you. There is nothing better than finding someone to walk through life with. I'm am so blessed to have found that happiness and I wish that for everyone. My hubby right now is making me breakfast. You just dont get more blessed than that. ;)

Thank you, my Sister. God has blessed me with a wonderful woman who is simply AWESOME! ;)

Meeting her was well worth the headache of dealing with all the derelicts on here. LOL.

I do not find NS men attractive generally speaking

where I'm from, the men and women take much better care of themselves

maybe it's cause I grew up there, but I find the men in Quebec much better looking

I'm not looking...my guy is pretty cute..I'm just making an observation

ornery...haha....my dad taught me to think for myself and I am pretty independant...it's the independant part that irks my husband somewhat

he likes to hold doors open etc...I've mananged to make him stop making me wait in the car until he comes round to open the door

he means well...haha...sometimes he's like a mother hen...and I'm like...it's ok...I'm fine...he is from a super conservative background and I'm ...well...not

There was a good message this morning about how we are to read the Bible. Seeing Jesus in the Bible because He is there from Genesis to Revelation. How we believers/we who have been born again by accepting Jesus Christ as our Savior.,should always be looking at the Scriptures to tell us now who we are IN Christ and how He will live His live through us. How IN Christ we are no longer what we were.

Sin has been dealt with by Christ alone. When a fellow believer sins, should we be telling them to "take care of that sin" or should we be telling them "Jesus has taken care of that sin" (???????)

How does the believer take care of sin now under the new covenant? What gives a believer the truth of how to be more than a conqueror?

I read a post by a young lady here some days ago who said she is a Christian. In her 30s who was not living as a Christian and got involved with a man., got married and found herself pregnant. The new "husband" no longer wanted to be married and wanted a divorce.,leaving this young lady to her mess. So she came on CC to get advice or encouragement or something. What she got was put in her place by people who were annoyed she didn't show the kind of repentance they thought she should have. She didn't take the advice that came with "yes you are a mess and need to get right with God" I think she already knew she was a mess and needed help.,something she didn't have already.

She has no family and obviously no real teaching on how to walk as a believer. I think what she needed was help not condemnation. If in fact this young lady is a young believer what she needed was to be told that In Jesus she has not been forsaken and her mess is not the end and could actually be the beginning.
And if she was not a believer., she needed to know that IN Christ., she could be 100% forgiven and that Jesus would be her Good Shepherd and would lead her in this journey she was on now. What she needed was hope in her hopelessness.

Sin is not the issue anymore under the new covenant. Christ is the subject and the answer. Why do so many believers point to the problem and not the solution? Why do so many believers condemn instead of come along side? Why do so many believers worry themselves with the heart of a person and not allow the Holy Spirit to deal with that part of the person?

Using this young ladies situation as an example., the answer for her is - move forward with Jesus not without Him. As a woman alone with no support she also needs a church with believers who will help and teach and support her to be all Jesus wants her to be and to bring up her child to do the same. She will eventually be a living walking example to her child of who Christ is to her. (because Jesus will be her Good Shepherd Psalm 23)

No one can do this being condemned. If a believer is going to move forward they have to see themselves IN Christ with HIS righteousness and know that they are no longer condemned with the world but have been rescued and put IN Christ. That He is their covering in all things especially when they sin.

The devotional here is how to do this as a Christian. Continually seeing ourselves as God sees us and not as we or others see see. Sin has been taken care of IN Christ. Preach Christ crucified and what that accomplished IN us by Him. And also, remembering or learning for maybe for the first time that repentance is about (change of mind) not doing penance. Jesus DID everything already. Now we believe and walk in that newness of life He has already paid for.
