I have said in post awhile back I do not believe in rioting and destruction of property. I do believe in peaceful protests.
I don't like racism or prejudice in any form. I was not raised that way. I am from the south and saw lots of it and have plenty of personal testimonies to it.

My God daughter is white, her mother and I grew up on the same street and remained friends all of this time. She spent the night at my house and me at hers. I love this little girl and treat her as my own. She has her own room in my home. I get that everyone has their own experiences as to why they feel the way that they do but one shouldn't have the same opinion about all based on a few.

do you not understand (and it seems you do not), that WHITE people are fed up with blacks blaming them for all their problems and black leaders hating on white people ? do you NOT get that?

do you really think only black people have a gripe? I believe that we are seeing groups who actually are anti-black rising up again BECAUSE of the constant dripping of discontent from the black community that have been whipped up by Obama and allowed to hate and I say allowed, because they were encouraged to hate

But I remember growing up in a town with blacks and whites, all the kids had two parents, most of the mothers did not work to stay home and care for their kids, and all the fathers worked for one of two companies -- Mobil or DuPont. ALL the fathers. Not the "white fathers." ALL the kids went to the same schools, (no bus, because it was a small town and the schools were in walking distance for everyone), had the same education, the same lunchroom, the same parking lot to gab after lunch, the same football field, the same everything. This whole "blacks need to be taken care of because they're just not up to the same abilities as whites" came along at LBJ's insistence. Suddenly, there was a divide that wasn't there before. There were riots in that same same place same parking lot, and frankly, we never knew why.

I've never been black, but I have empathy for people, so I can imagine it.

I've never had an abortion, but I have the empathy for those who chose that path. (Three weeks to find out if I was pregnant after being raped, and aborting did enter my mind.)

And, frankly, the man should have a say if the child is aborted or not because it's his child too!

I was at a restaurant near Nashville the other day. I got to talking to a waiter who was black.An older man who was from Philly. It was clear he didn't like Trump and I said nothing to show my hand of how I felt. But he was talking about kids and how they need a way out of the situation they are in.And I asked how he felt about the NFL kneeling and he was in support,which I figured he might be. So I asked him if these sports star etc.come back to the community and tell kids there is a way out.And he said no,that once they got out and got rich and famous they didn't want to come back,they wanted to hob knob with the rich. I don't think he realized what he was saying. He said that he wanted to coach children but he was getting a degree first. And before we closed the conversation I said that politicians were not the answer to the problem,that we needed to get back to the basics,putting God first. Now he didn't seem to be a believer,but he didn't tell me I wasn't right either.It was a very interesting conversation.I hope to make it back some day in the future and see what he accomplished.Tell a person they are a victim long enough and they will believe it and become dependent. This man did not believe he was a victim and he is working on his future even though he's an older man.
