I really can't respond in the fashion that I want to here because then I would have to ban myself permanently. The only moderately polite way that I can respond to these posts is to say that someone sold you a load of garbage and you bought it because the alternative possibility is that you intentionally and bold faced lied in your posts (which I really hope is not the case).

Traffic deaths in which marijuana was "involved" is up 154% from 2006 (37) to 2014 (94). Now, in order for marijuana to be "involved" one of the drivers involved only had to have a positive THC test, not necessarily be impaired or be the at fault driver. Some recorded instances of "pot related" accidents have had barely readable levels of THC and over twice the legal limit of alcohol so that 154% is higher than it really should be since many "pot related" accidents were drunk drivers.

I'm glad you caught this mess. This type of disinformation is seen all the time by him & others in the BDF.
Multiple statements without evidence, & people eat it up with "really?"
Some do it for fun, but others are sockpuppets with an agenda to push the advertising of false doctrine. They plant pieces of their false doctrine in every thread in the BDF.
BTW,Nice post.:)

Sorry my brother. I respect you immensely but I must say, first and foremost, always and forever, Jesus is my Lord and Savior. Once in a while I'll toke on a number and it in no way is partaking in magic arts. That's overkill.
Thank you for telling us more about yourself. I definitely believe that.:)

I think we should do a trial run on legalizing all drugs. We could take a state we don't need or care about, like New Mexico, and build a wall around it. Put all the drugs in there and all the drug users. They can use until their heads and hearts explode.
Sounds spiritually smelly.

I agree with everything but the 1%. They've been around for over 100 years.
That's true. I should have said that he is the force that made the 1% wildly richer. Thanks for the opportunity to revise that :)

just a share:

a very special neighbor of mine has a daughter who got into drugs in grade school, as do so many
in this day and age, anyway, she progressed up and up and up to the point that she looked like a
walking skeleton, in her early 40's, but she some how always found a way to get what she needed,
by crook or by hook, so, after about 40+yrs. what finally killed her was an overdose of 'aspirin',
because her primary 'doctor' had either died or simply cut her off after many, many, years of supplying her with what
she wanted/needed, which included all of the latest 'hard-legal-drugs', the most dangerous and deadly...

there was just nothing anyone could ever do to help her without enabling her, so at the end of her life,
she chose to be all alone in the bondage and trap that satan had laid for her...she pushed everyone
away, even the ones who loved her the most; children, mother, father, grandkids, etc...
so tragic, and yet, so very, very, common in today's society. we personally know many who are
tragically trapped in the 'medical-arena', and are very happy to play along with whatever they tell
them to take or do....

Having regrettably partaken in this myself, I can say I hope the smoking form of it remains illegal. It's a putrid scent and it's downright offensive. I've never met a pothead I liked, and I've known a few of em'. However, I don't think access to it's benefits should be denied because it is natural... Edibles and Sodas with content of it IMO should be accessible to people either 18 or 21 plus... let the voter decide. There ARE people who could benefit from it. And was it not written in Genesis 1:29 "[SUP] [/SUP]Then God said, “Look! I have given you every seed-bearing plant throughout the earth and all the fruit trees for your food." FOOD. NOT Smoke. My 2 cents. It COULD raise funds.

It needs to be decriminalized so it can be thoroughly studied for it's medicinal properties.

Let us walk properly as in the daytime, not in orgies and drunkenness, not in sexual immorality and sensuality, not in quarreling and jealousy. But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to gratify its desire Romans 13:13-14

Why?? There's nothing wrong with marijuana as long as you don't use it in excess

Greetings all!

Here is some information that some may know, but many do not know:

"Outside are the dogs, those who practice magic arts, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idolaters and everyone who loves and practices falsehood."

"The rest of mankind who were not killed by these plagues still did not repent of the work of their hands; they did not stop worshiping demons, and idols of gold, silver, bronze, stone and wood—idols that cannot see or hear or walk. Nor did they repent of their murders, their magic arts, their sexual immorality or their thefts."

The words translated "magic arts" above, are translated from the word "pharmakeia/pharmakos" which is where we get our English word Pharmaceutical from. Drugs were/are used in relation to incantations and casting spells. Today people are still using drugs for incantations and casting spells, but people are also using drugs for recreational purposes, which still falls under the banner of sorcery, magic arts. Therefore, many people who use Marijuana, methamphetamine's, cocaine, Heroin, etc, are guilty of practicing magic arts, without even realizing it. I believe that this is what is being referred to in the scriptures above, as well as those who are actually practicing magic arts with the rest of its characteristics. Below is the definition forpharmakeia and pharmakos:

=============================================================
Cognate: 5333 phármakos – properly, a sorcerer; used of people using drugs and "religious incantations" to drug people into living by their illusions – like having magical (supernatural) powers to manipulate God into giving them more temporal possessions.

5331 pharmakeía (from pharmakeuō, "administer drugs") – properly, drug-related sorcery, like the practice of magical-arts, etc.

Word Origin
from pharmakeuó (to administer drugs)

Definition
the use of medicine, drugs or spells

NASB Translation
sorceries (1), sorcery (2).

If someone uses methamphetamine with a prescription because they have ADHD are they wrong? If someone uses marijuana because they have a prescription, are they wrong. If someone uses methamphetamine of marijuana because they have the same condition for which it is prescribed for others are they "morally" wrong?

Regarding people who use marijuana where it is legal, are they wrong?

I am not strongly disputing your point. I am just raising additional questions about the point. I agree with you to some extent.

I deliver mail to an E-cigarette business and they can't wait for marijuana to become legalized in Missouri. They plan on making a fortune off of it. E-cigaweed.

E cigarettes always make me think of Star Trek
I imagine people smoking weed with them being all "Hey duuuude, look, it's a phaser! Let's go try it out dude!"

I was referring to this....

so imfinallyfree:

Do you know what the word murder means? Does that mean you committed murder? no? Then don't go making accusations

Someone mentioning people using e cigarettes for marijuana does not mean they actually smoke it.

Agreed. Hopefully that would put to rest all of the conflicting conjecture.
