Yes...but it was somewhat stupid, didn't do no good, and his name will be attached to what he did. Good job...
They are interviewing NFL players about his actions and so far there is a 50% mixed feelings. There are players who are against what he is doing and there are players who agree with what he is doing.

Let me add my two cents about this. When it comes to the national anthem whether you are a football player or not, you are not forced to partake in it. The problem for me when it comes to him not partaking in it, is he is using the lines from the Black Lives Matter movement, so this does not seem to just be a publicity stunt (though some could argue that BLM is itself a publicity stunt financed by George Soros). I understand him not standing for it, but his reason is flawed and he is supporting the propaganda and not the real facts. He claims oppression and that police officers are given paid leave for murdering people. So he is actually causing more harm in our already racially divided nation, where certain blacks are claiming it is all the white people's fault instead of caring about their communities and trying to police them themselves, since the police cannot be there 24/7. Where some say that I need to pay reparations for African slavery (when I had nothing to do with it and did not support it and we have a debt that we cannot pay as a country). Some of these same people go after Ben Carson because one he is not a Democrat, he is a conservative (so they call him an Uncle Tom, even though he does not support slavery, etc). So this conversation does matter, let us pray for this man and that God would work on his life. As for this oppression he talks about, there sadly still is injustice in this nation, but as long as sin exists, oppression will not cease until Christ comes back again. God bless. Have a beautiful day! :)

I laugh at the stupidity in this thread. The NFL does not make their players stand during the national anthem so this guy isn't doing anything wrong. He has the right to do so.
I think everyone likes acceptance and although he has freedom of speech, tell the truth, are you strong enough to be his friend without considering what others think of you?Seems like an Inconsiderate post.

I doubt half of them agree with him...probably just don't wont to get on the wrong side of the PC mob if they tell the truth about how big a jerk he is being and the stupidity of the whole Black thugs matter movement.

Love covers a multitude of sins and people respond positively to someone who sincerely cares but I guarantee you, telling someone to go back where you came from makes the devil happy and will cause greater division.

The thing that makes America great Is,all type people coming together adding TO the greatness of this great country.
Don't sound like you understand biblical love? Love takes a whip to folks at times

Mitspa, while you are a brother in Christ, Jesus did not take a whip to folks at times (I know this is not related to this thread, but this is a mistake you keep on repeating saying something that the verse does not say).

John 2:13-17

When it was almost time for the Jewish Passover, Jesus went up to Jerusalem. In the temple courts he found people selling cattle, sheep and doves, and others sitting at tables exchanging money. So he made a whip out of cords, and drove all from the temple courts, both sheep and cattle; he scattered the coins of the money changers and overturned their tables. To those who sold doves he said, “Get these out of here! Stop turning my Father’s house into a market!” His disciples remembered that it is written: “Zeal for your house will consume me.”

So I don't see anywhere in this verses that Jesus smacked people with the holy whip of justice that you are inferring from this passage. God bless. :)

I think we have had this discussion before ..and God Bless you but you are just clearly wrong and you could not answer or refute my points the last time we discussed this issue. Jesus took a whip to people ..it says it plain as day and it was intended to be a clear and evident witness to His Person ...

I'm talking about the kind of love we should have for our neighbor.
GOD first loved us,we should love our neighbor.

Any kind of ministering of love that doesn't edify the person being ministered to,Is just for appearance, noise.

Well that's my whole sentiment behind the post. In my opinion it should be considered unsportsmanlike conduct.

The media decried Tebow expressing himself. And they hold this idiot as some kind of hero.

You and I rarely agree on anything but I must say I agree wholeheartedly with this.... Tim Tebow comes out is openly Christian and is ridiculed. Another example is remember that NBA player who came out as openly gay and they practically rolled out the red carpet for him? Not that I have anything against gay people but I just see this is a double standard

It's a pretty good indicator of where the media's loyalty lies in all of this.

I think you bring up a great point here. To conduct oneself with class would be good. If a person doesn't like America and what it stands for...at least have some class about it.

Don't worry, he may not stand for the Anthem, but he's going to darn well bend those knees in front of Jesus.

I get why people don't like it...but seriously not a big deal.
