I just used your own words. See highlighted in bold above.
I knew you would quote that. I should clarify. I don't want to teach anything about abortion...I will teach something about the process of embryology if someone says something ignorant like that dividing cells are sentient.... Sentience is very much brain related. This is different from a soul, of course. Animals can be sentient too. Nothing is sentient upon conception, at least physically/mentally speaking. If you're talking about spiritually, that is a different matter.

Lol they sit here talking about abortion like they're outraged, but only one candidate of either party has even done anything substantive to staunch the scourge of abortion, and that's Kasich, and they don't want him, they would rather be lied to. All the other candidates just blow hot air like their supporters.
the worst part of it is that they want Trump, who is pro-choice too!

???

Wait !! Answer me, please...the one if you prayed about it, and did God answer you?
I've prayed about it before. I will pray about it tonight for sure. I feel strongly that God does not like needless suffering. But maybe I'm wrong.

Trump is actually a NYC moderate republican. About as close to the middle as a republican can get.

Back to Bernie... I haven't seen him in the news all day. They keep going over Trump and Cruz and their wives. And then that tragedy in Brussle.

Lol the worst part? Lol nah that's the best part, just proves what I've thought for years that the GOPers actually don't have any integrity or morals or principles. They are just gullible and easily manipulated by anger.

Umm I didn't say anything anti-christian ever... I was telling you about the process of embryology. Nothing is sentient at conception...that's just a fact.
I really don't know who taught you your facts, but, it seems to me, that you are citing theory as fact. Many scientists try to make you believe that their theories are indeed fact, but alas, they are called theories for a reason.

Ask yourself one question, if we knew so much about embryology, then why is any child born with a birth defect of any kind? And yeah, it's that simple.

No offense but you don't know what you're saying. You've said so many words that I don't know how you can keep track of it all. I know....you're young and your head is overflowing with information and you want to get it all out. You're smart and you seem pretty nice but you need some life under your belt. There is a lot more to life than what a textbook says there is.

Okay, fair enough.
So I am guessing by your reply you did not get a clear indication from the Lord about this one way or another?

i don't agree with everything Kisses1990 says about embryos, or all her positions about abortion.

but i think it's fascist to want to ban her from the forums because of any of that. none of that has anything to do with whether she believes the gospel, and talking about the science of human development is not "teaching a false gospel"

Kisses, i ain't even gonna get into it with you or anyone else about abortion, because i love the whole lot of you, and it's not worth turning us into each others enemies over.

Suffering is one of the main vehicles that God uses to draw us close to him.

Oh well, the main point I remember about it was that Bernie Sanders proposes that we could have free healthcare for everyone for the price of a cup of coffee taken out of all of our paychecks.
I'm sorry to say this, but that is pure, unadulterated BS... (Bernie Sanders).

If that WAS true, then why don't we all have a good healthcare plan for $3.50 per month? I know you are young, and probably have never had to really rely on your health insurance, but costs are astronomical.

I wager that you could take about 30 days worth of cups of coffee out of each worker's paycheck each month, and MAYBE fund health care. Are you willing to give up an extra $100 per month to pay for some gang-banger's health plan? THAT'S the situation we have now.

If money taken from working Americans was actually put to good use, helping truly NEEDY people with health care, it wouldn't be QUITE so difficult to swallow

If you truly want "free" health care, then perhaps the gov't should take a flat rate, say .75% from everyone, and put it in a pool, then let people apply for the "free" coverage, and only be granted it after being vetted as truly needy. Then THEY can be the ones that have a healthcare plan like Canada, or the UK, and all the rest of us can keep our plans.

We need 100% FREE healthcare for all people, regardless of what their problems are.
And, who do you think is going to PAY for that "free" healthcare?

She said "needless" suffering.
It may seem needless to man but God uses all for good and His glory. How can we determine what is needless when held up against the will of an Almighty God?

the GOP is seriously falling apart these days. it's been painfully transparent since Obama was elected. even in the campaign leading up to it -- claiming to be the 'party of Christian conservatives' and floating a mormon.

In theory it sounds good, and I am all for taking care of those that need help, but in the implementation, there is never going to be a system that covers even 75% of the challenges and concerns of everyone fairly, sad to say.

This is a misunderstanding. In science, the word "theory" means "fact". The word is not used in the same way laypeople use it. The Germ Theory of Disease is a fact. We know microscopic organisms cause sickness. I highly doubt that will ever be overturned lol. I should be even more specific. Science is in the business of disproving things. We can't prove ANYTHING to 100%. But the Germ Theory of Disease is the absolute best theory we have to explain witnessed phenomena. It's as close to a fact as we can get. The same for the Theory of Evolution. "Theory" in science is not a wild guess or speculation. It's a body of evidence that paints a picture about reality.

You're right. There are still MANY more questions regarding embyrology. We don't know everything. But we know a lot. You asked "why is any child born with a birth defect". I can answer that. It's because of genes and mutations.

We can't, I know. But I can flip that coin around and say how do we know someones suffering was not needless? Only God knows, and I don't think He is letting me or you in on that.

No kidding. I might be in the minority but I am sort of glad to see it coming apart at the seems. Out with old in with new I say.
