I don't know who your addressing ( "you feel") but the law doesn't favor any religion but it has had an understanding of what is moral. Christianity is in the decline not because of bigotry an hatred unless you are referring to hatred and bigotry shown to Christians today. And that is very clear. The opinion that in some way the Love of God meaning is acceptances of a sexual preference seems disingenuous because one will say God is love as that is all to God, not Holy or one who will not endorse sin. I agree the westbro baptist will be seen as christian but even in that example it is very much different than islam which is killing gays today. saying the judgement of God is one thing while giving those who kill in their religion is another. The whole concept of liberty and civil rights in America is based on Christian precepts and ideas from the christian faith..what some folks want is to pick and choose what they agree with or want to hear.
A real christian understands that the good news is only in its proper context when the bad news is understood as well. Yes all gays will go to hell..yes all Muslims will go to hell..but you can be saved and Christ will deliver you if you humble yourself to Him.
