It is wrong to generalize over a large population. "Christian" Germany, the land of Martin Luther, started World War II in Europe which killed millions. In fact most Greman infantry soldiers were issued belt buckles with "Gott mit uns" ("God with us") written on them.
Islam and Christianity are very similar in one way: there are some good ones and some ugly ones, very ugly ones. I don't think it right to point our finger at others. (At least not until we reach perfection!)

Adstar, I believe the word “population” was used properly in the above posts. In biology, a population is all the organisms of the same group or species. In sociology it is a collection or group of people having something in common, in our case religion. Islam, the religion, has a large population extending from Indonesia to Morocco (countries with Islamic majorities).
The post using the word “Mohammedan” is also correct. This word was used in the English speaking world until about 1960 at which time it was slowly replaced with “Muslim”.

My parents didn't raise me to be Christian, neither of them are.
Telling me that they know no better, or trying to pull at heartstrings that I do not have, will not move me. Islam is an evil belief, the muslims are an evil people. There will be no peace, their killing will not stop, until every one of their temples are torn down, every one of their korans are burned, their language, culture, and people are driven from the earth, so they are never known again. Islam, and it's followers, bring no value to the earth. The Koran tells it's followers in no less than 109 places, that they shall kill the unbelievers. I'm tired of islam, this world isn't big enough for me and them.
I hope the President's declaration, inflames muslims so much, it forces a war to which the rest of the world has no choice but to annihilate islam.
And anyone who thinks that muslims are a race; you are a waste of limited natural resources.

I believe i never mentioned the word Population or the word mohammedan in my post..... So why try to use them in a reply to me...
But apart from that all muslims who believe the teachings of the quran and the accepted hadiths will wage violent jihad untill all the world submits to islam and there is no other religion but islam..
Just like in Christianity there are millions of false Christians.. So in islam there are many false muslims.. devout musim groups like ISIS are doing their best to eradicate such false muslims today who they declare Hypocrites..
