Just as we do not blame knives, forks, hammers, ball bats, rocks, bow and arrow, sling shots, or a well placed kick as being the object that kills people.

Is it not odd that you do not see the same concern for human life from the Socialist liberals where alcoholic beverages, and all the drugs they want legalized are concerned?

ABORTIONS kill people..... Do not see them upset about that
Don't 'we'? If somebody were to be murdered, the weapon responsible would be recorded. If you are listing a 'well placed kick' as a weapon, are you suggesting that people are not to blame?

It's not odd. 'Socialist liberals' are mentally ill and degenerate.

Bullets go around of their own agency and kill people?
"Guns" do not kill people for the simple reason that a gun can sit in a case all day and do absolutely nothing. But when criminals own guns, they use them for any reason, or no reason. Confiscating the guns of law-abiding citizens is government overreach. Tyrannical governments fear citizens because there is tyranny. But any government truly working for ordinary citizens would never fear armed revolt. It is the tyrants -- just like those presently in D.C. -- who need soldiers protecting them 24/7 from the wrath of disenfranchised citizens. And those soldiers do have guns. Why have those guns not been confiscated by the hypocritical liberals?

Barring access to guns by law-abiding citizens is another tactic of tyrants. Criminals will simply laugh at those laws, and smuggle guns in by the truckload. But law-abiding citizens will be rendered helpless when it comes to defending themselves and their families. There have been multiple cases of break-ins, in which citizens were able to protect themselves and their loved ones only because they had a gun (or guns) and used it.

What almost everyone has forgotten in the West is that government officials are in fact SERVANTS of the people. They are elected to serve. But that whole concept has been trashed, and now it is the tyrants in government who vainly think that they are lords and masters and can do as they please. This is also true of all the liberal judges who believe they can make up their own laws to suit their political ideologies.

America is now ripe for armed revolt, since all lawful means of controlling tyrants in government have been exhausted. When the highest court in the land not only condones fraud but encourages it, criminals run the country while citizens suffer. And that is why Washington, D.C. has been fenced off from the public. The enemies of the people are in control, but they know that that may not last too long. At the same time, these people encouraged thugs and domestic terrorists such as BLM and Antifa to destroy American cities. Who provided those criminals with weapons with which to attack law-abiding citizens. And their color made no difference to the evildoers.

Yes that is how the laws works. If you break it, you're a criminal.
It seems you ignored my first question, but only answered the one that reinforced your view. Have you ever broken any law? And does that mean You are a criminal?

Gun control is about population control. They could care less if people die. If that were the problem then automobiles, cigarettes, alcohol, and many other things would be banned. If they can disarm a population then they have eliminated a threat to their power.

They cannot make money off of people shooting each other, but they can make money off of regulating your rights via licenses and taxes.

The only reason a government will really try to disarm a population is if they fear socioeconomic instability or losing power.

The ones who talk about "gun control" day and night.
Really? I have personally never heard anyone suggest guns have personal agency. Could you be so kind as to provide a quote?

Just like cars can kill people so can guns. If we didn't restrict who can drive more people would be killed by cars then already are. Restrictions such as passing a driving test and getting licensed. These restrictions if put on guns would save countless lives.

Criminals do not care about these restrictions. And law-abiding citizens who own guns do not go around killing people. So the whole idea is not for reducing murders, but governmental control and overreach. Some of the countries with strictest regulations continue to see huge numbers of murders.

How does doing a background check to see if a person has a criminal record deny law abiding citizens the right to buy a gun? It doesn't. All it does is make it harder for criminals to own guns but the nra wants everyone including violent criminals to have access.

The cities with the most restrictive gun laws have the highest incidence of gun violence. Laws cannot cure social decay. Keep feeding children a false reality in video games and deny them values that make human life sacred and you will have uncontrollable violence for generations yet to come.

Drugs and video games are two common causes of misuse of guns. Defund the police and my self protection becomes even more important.

Is anyone saying that firearms can in and of themselves do anything?
Specific people groups often feel that banning guns or even certain types of guns would cut down on what they feel are gun related problems.

What they fail to see is that those who intend to do harm .... will.

The vast majority of guns here in America are held by law abiding citizens, who use them for sport, or for self defense. Taking them from said people is a violation of civil rights. It also takes them out of the hands of people who use them responsibly.

No non-law abiding citizen intent on doing harm will simply hand over their guns.

so why are firearms and their manufacturers blamed when a firearm is used in a criminal or wreckless manner and someone dies?
In the same way you don't allow a child who gets a knife as a present, and instead of using it for useful and constructive purposes, instead uses it to destroy things, like taking bits out of furniture, in such a case you take the knife away from them!

Likewise, introducing strict gun laws will cut down the availability of guns to dangerous criminals.

However, many US citizens don't seem to get the connection between the easy availability of guns and their hideously high murder rate!

Simple statistics blow this idea out of the water.

The cities with the highest gun crime rates sit within the states that have the strictest gun control laws leaving only the criminals (who do not purchase them in gun stores) with firearms.

Mexico which as a nation has gun control laws stricter than any state here has (by far) a higher gun crime rate that anywhere in the US because (once again) those very laws have left the honest citizens powerless to defend themselves against the cartels who have no problem obtaining them illegally.

And the vast majority of those guns used in Mexico are purchased legally in the US hence more reason for the need for stronger gun laws up here.

Respectfully, this is not at all the case. Think logically about it. Do you honestly believe that a dangerous criminal can walk up to a counter at their local Bass Pro and purchase a gun? The vast majority of guns used in pre meditated murders are illegally obtained.

Actually virtually every gun in existence is originally purchased legally before it ever enters the black market.

I didn't know people were still pushing this false narrative.

The reason you don't hear this false narrative repeated as often as it was in the 90s is because it's been proven false time and time again by a multitude of studies. In fact, as video games have increased amongst people throughout the last 30 years, violence has actually decreased. I guess it's always easier to blame video games and Marilyn Manson for school shootings than a lack of parenting, insufficient mental health care, etc...
