People who are territorial about their seats in church. If a visitor happens to get your seat, it'll do you good to sit somewhere else. You were getting too comfortable there anyway.

People who gossip during church. It's not bad enough you tear people down, you have to do it while the preacher is trying to preach?
I have quit small groups due to the gossip sessions that began the meeting about members of the church!!

When Christians bad mouth other Christians, only to then say "But I'm not judging." Really? So than ten minute rant was to just clear the silence?

- when i notice a misspelled word on the screen during praise and worship, and i mean to fix it afterwards, but forget. and then remember the NEXT time we sing that song. lol
I hear you on this one.
I've got a song with messed-up text spacing that I've forgotten to correct for a dozen times or more. I finally got it done last Sunday. Now that's it's correct, the next time we sing it, it's gonna mess everyone up. (grin)

When people in church form groups on their own based on status, profession or age and ignore others, especially people who look "weird".
Does that apply to me? I'm weird and so I attract weird people.

Hence why you're so beloved in the CC Singles forum...
Thank you kindly, brother! I have to say, it's great to see you walking the CC halls again. :)

Well, I'm not exactly 'walking' the hallowed halls...more like a cross between stalking and strutting with a pinch of looming and lurking thrown in for flavor.

You know nothing can pry me away from CC. I never lose focus and I never stray from my appointed task. I am solid as steel and dependable as the sunrise. Nothing in all creation can distract my attenti...hey, look! A squirrel!

How about when the preacher is preaching a message and jumps all over the Bible, picking individual verses out here and there?
I'd like to have everything in context.

Oopen your Bibles to Romans 4... if you turn to 1 Corinthians... And Matthew 8 says.... Finally let's look at what 1 Timothy has to say... yeah... that.

When people chew with their mouth open.
Non-Christians do that too. You're right about it being a peeve, though. It particularly annoys me when people will shovel a forkful of food into their mouths just prior to saying something. Why not say it first, then eat?

It was just a general pet peeve. I didn't know we were supposed to be specific for only Christian's.

Well, then, let me rephrase: I hate it when Christians chew with their mouth open.

I was my own pet peeve yesterday :( sigh

'People who are clueless to Xbox and such'

So my young nephew comes for a visit yesterday
Looking quite glum

I say "Whats wrong my little tater tot?"

He says "Aunt Sky...none of the girls talk to me on xbox much cuz I cant buy nice things for my characters with a Visa card?"

In hopes to make him smile I said
"Say whaaaaa? Since when does Mario need Versace anyhow?"

He smiled
Because he loves me I'm sure

But I still got the 'look' of

"Ya just don't get it...but I love you very much"

Sigh...yea
LOL
Mark one up for me
I must say I was my own pet peeve after that :(

Christians chewing with their mouth open is the worst.
