We're so blessed to have a really good crowd right now.
* And Snackersmom -- if I stepped out of line and she told me to go to my room, I'd have to choice but to hang my head and go!
Giiiiiiirrrrllll, do NOT tag me with this responsibility, you a handful!!:LOL::p;)

This made me laugh so hard!!

When I was in high school, I had a boyfriend who would come over to our house to hang out with me and my parents all the time. She really liked him, and apparently she liked him enough to even give him a warning.

One day he was telling my Mom about some kind of mischief I'd gotten myself into (so much for getting away with anything!), and she looked at me and sighed.

"Yes," she said, while nodding at me, "Seoul is something only a mother could love.":ROFL::ROFL:

But why was she grinning ear-to-ear when she said that??? :geek::D:cool:

French is such a beautiful-sounding language, like a song you don't want to end.

If I ever met a French-speaking guy, it might be all over!

I remember seeing an interview with Jane Birkin, the British/French actress/singer, and the studio had arranged a surprise visit from her daughters. She was so surprised to see them and they were all speaking to each other excitedly in French -- it sounded like an amazing harmony. ❤️

Susanna, if we ever hung out I'm sure I would annoy you to death -- I would demand that you speak French around me but then also have to constantly ask what you were saying.
lol, French is not just about words, but also a loooot of body language. Can get a little annoying at times. I just have to give you a heads up on that.

Hey seoul are you much of a movie person?
I used to love movies, but got to a point where I felt I couldn't watch anything as a Christian, and the movies I saw all seemed so generic that I felt like I was wasting my life away.

The last movie I saw in the theater was Top Gun: Maverick. I liked it because they took a legacy character and treated him with respect, while showing his value to the younger generations.

I wish they would do that with all my other legacy characters  (Luke Skywalker, Indiana Jones, etc.)

But I do enjoy talking to people about their views on modern entertainment, so I listen to a handful of reviewers on YouTube. 9 times out of 10, I find the reviews to be much more interesting, entertaining, and insightful than if I would have watched the movie.

What about you, Stingray? What are your favorite types of movies? :)

action and scifi are my favorite types of movies but i do also have over 300 bluray movies and probably up to 30 4 k movies.....i can see a time coming where i wont be able to go to the movies because of what they present though. secular music is pretty much that way for me now.

How about you do you have any hobbies or such you like to do with your free time?
Lately I spend a lot of time writing, reading, and trying to learn (mostly from YouTube!)

I'm trying to teach myself investing and I usually listen to several videos about it while I'm doing chores.

I also write a lot of letters to friends, and of course, here on CC. :) I'm trying to get back into sewing and jewelry-making... I made a jewelry set for a friend for her birthday, and let's just say, I'm a bit rusty, lol!!! It took me much longer than I thought but she seemed to like it a lot. :)

I saw some of your posts about your car stereo! It looks pretty incredible and must have been a lot of work -- you have a lot of talent. :)

I cant say im a hands on person like yourself though i do however understand how to put things together technically and i have an old degree with computers and as ive said before God has plans for a business for me. It specifically has to do with networking and internet routers but he said it would be more also. I did also have a desire in the past to get a nutritionist degree but i messed that up but God is good he always makes up for our short comings.
