haha I agree! I used to love Golden Corral as a kid b/c they had pizza, fried chicken and ice cream :p
I went a couple years ago and I was really disappointed. It was gross! My brother said he felt we were like pigs in a line to get ready for chow. There were tons of people and food on the floor. Kids yelling. Never again.
Haha yeah, I also really liked it as a kid : p And I actually remember that my mom hated it, haha.

Now I can see why : p Makes you wonder why a kid would like it though?
Well..... I guess cuz pizza and ice cream : p

(they did have an awesome chocolate pie though)

what's up, darlin'? :(

i know you know this, but in reality (God's) all is well. ♥
Oh haha, sorry for worrying you. I was trying to sing this song by Michael W. Smith and Carrie Underwood called "All is well" and it's way too high for my vocal range so I was just exaggerating that I broke my windows and need more to break xD

Here's the song. It's actually really pretty:

Abi and I have this karaoke thang, but I can only sing songs I already know.. :(
karaoke is so brave! i admire you both.

listen to it totally non-stop for three days, and you'll not only know it, you'll get the added bonus of driving the neighbors nuts. ;)

I don't really have the time to learn new songs, and learning to sing a new song that i don't know is hard for me. I have to stick to sings that I've heard on the radio.

But here's a duet that I sang with a young lady to the song Babe by Styx...

Traveling for the Holidays is exhausting on both the emotional and physical levels. For numerous reasons I have had to travel more in November than the last 4 years combined and not sure I dig it. :-(

I sang "O Holy Night" this morning in church. This is probably my favorite Christmas song of all time. So thankful I was able to sing it.

I love O Holy night, please tell me you sang it with all the proper choruses and not just deciding to repeat O night at the end of every verse (seriously that's my biggest pet peeve with this song because the original endings are so amazingly God honoring).

Speaking of does anyone else ever get surprised by an updated (and often woosified) hymn in church and think, that's not how it goes.

Generally I don't mind updated hymns... because they are often far more playable on a guitar (or drums) than the originals.

I was thinking more lyrically than musically, but I completely understand what you're saying.

Awesome. Was this as a solo presentation? I think its a bit sad that we sing some Christmas hymns only at Christmas. They are so masterfully written with a powerful advent message. Then again, I suppose the seasonal aspect is what makes them so special.

We have a temporary pastor until our permanent starts in January. I like the temp guy he's nice and is a good teacher but last week in service he talked about Advent and waiting for Christ to come and we aren't going to sing Christmas songs until that time, I swear I heard a couple of gasps. My Church will sing a Christmas song in October and no one thinks twice about it.
