i don't think it counts as "beauty sleep" if it's under a car. just saying.
Or double the beauty sleep.....I guess it all depends on perspective.

That'll earn big time man points

*nods*

No self respecting man needs or desires "beauty sleep" :p
When one is not a man, one need not worrying about such things.

I learned...

...that getting sick really sucks.

...that sleep is very therapeutic.

...that my cats lack compassion and could care less how I feel. They still demanded that I feed them even though I could barely move.
Cats are selfish and sinister creatures. At every moment they are conspiring against their owners.

Oh I learnt one valuable lesson this week. That God is in-charge of my life no matter what happens.

I learned that maturity does not come with age but with acceptance of responsibility. Responsibility is the ability to respond to problems.

You are only young once, but you can be immature indefinitely...

My temporary dyslexia interpreted this statement as, "No hoes allowed in the State Capitol???!!!"

OOOOOOOKKKKKKKK.

(I mean... has anyone actually told the POLITICIANS that???!!!)
In the state of Florida anything goes...

Even a tiny scrap of meat left out of the cutting board will attract ants.

Ants on the cutting board are easy to move to the sink and wash down the drain.

A partially full pitcher of koolaid will mold if left in the refrigerator long enough.

I need to get a little bit better at house cleaning.

1. That it sometimes makes people sad to hear that I don't plan on marrying, especially if I say that there are times that I would like a husband. I think I'll re-phrase it as follows: "I don't specifically plan on marrying, but I'm quite certain that if the right guy comes along, we'd both know that it was the Lord's will, and we'd both feel totally peaceful about getting married". Kinda long, but more accurate, and I've felt that peace when something was the right thing to do despite being unexpected, so I have every reason to believe that's the way it'll be for something important like marriage. With the Lord, expect the unexpected, though you may still be surprised a lot :).

2. I most likely am gluten-intolerant, having gone a week with little gluten, and a few days with none. Stomach feels a lot better. Glad I started trying the diet after only a few months of increasing stomach discomfort instead of waiting years like the apparent average is. Also, I tried a couple other things first.

3. I'm again reminded of the benefits of trying out a new diet to see if it works, rather than waiting for a doctor's appointment, then for test results to come back, and still hoping I'm not in the small percent of people who get a false reading. Also, I saved an awful lot of money this way.

4. Pipp has an extra crunchy friend; an underground health-nut (I guess that goes on her next list =D).

5. I'm capable of giving a stern word if needed. I'd done such before, but it's good to be tested every so often. Love is sometimes saying "cut that out". Loudly if necessary.

One thing I learned about myself this week:
-If a person has the ability to humbly admit that they are in the wrong, my respect for them increases dramatically.

^ Agreed, as long as the person truly IS in the wrong :). I've met a few people who would just immediately apologize to their children if they made the kid angry for a legitimate reason. NOT a good way to parent; just teaches the youngster that he or she is always right if he/she gets mad. Same if one makes an adult angry because he/she said something the person needed to hear; only apologize if you were in the wrong. The other person may still need a lot of hugs or something, though; I'm not saying not to comfort him or her if you upset him/her for valid reasons :).

This wasn't meant as a rebuke to ChandlerFan, BTW; just some things I believe it prudent to type :).

How about those who apologize but dont really mean it? My respect for them goes down the drain.

I believe that you should say what you mean and mean what you say.

1.) How to enable the bookmarks bar in my Opera browser after 4 months of having Opera and not even knowing there WAS a bookmarks bar!! LOL!!

2.) Mallard ducks really will stay outside in ANY type of weather (rain, hail, lightning, winter).

3.) My cat can and WILL try to eat absolutely ANYTHING she can get her fat little jaws on, whether it's a twisty-tie, plastic grocery bag, a toilet paper roll, a straw, even dirt and lint!!

4.) My cat is an excellent fly catcher/killer, but sucks when it comes to killing creepy-crawlies like ants, spiders, flying termites, and pincers.

5.) That if I laugh too hard or too long at a funny cat video, eventually I will end up coughing and breathless and hawking up a lung. Pretty much like I did last night. :/

6.) Mallard ducks also can and will try to eat ANYTHING you give them. Chicken fingers, pizza crust, even dead flower blooms. LOL. They ate the chicken and pizza crust, and only nibbled at the flower blooms, which I will add, my neighbors threw down to the river, and of course the ducks being used to eating whatever is thrown down, tried to eat them.

7.) Roh_Cris is right--cats ARE selfish and sinister little creatures. Mine gets great joy out of watching me clean up HER messes!!

there apparently is a shark named 'submarine' and you have to watch shark week to understand what i'm talking about. craazy. this is what my worst nightmares are made of and why my surfboard lies comfortably against the wall and hasn't travelled anywhere in a very long time.
