To them its impossible to do these things such as walk a blameless life, obey God from your heart, sin no more, crucify your flesh, etc. even though scripture says you can, BUT you must do it Gods way through James 1-21-22, way to understanding, but they cannot do that, thanks to Augustine!

They stay carnal in their understanding then, and any truth posted or give to them is nonsense, and makes them feel uncomfortable because most of them are in one form of bondage or another, especially the lie! They want to drag you in with them, try and get you to admit you are just a sinner as they are, and play dirty to steal your peace throwing out many straw man questions that end in a dead end, such as what the Pharisees did to Jesus to try and trap Him!

Rev 22:11 He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still.

You will be judged by how Jesus finds you, quit shooting the messenger, look deep into your heart, and make sure you are walking the cricufied life!

If perhaps God will give them repentance!

2Ti 2:25 In meekness instructing those who oppose, if perhaps God will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth,
2Ti 2:26 and that they awake out of the snare of the Devil, having been taken captive by him, so as to do the will of that one.
Today the numbers of those who oppose the truth that transforms is staggering! They argue in favor of sin and disobedience every chance they can get claiming it’s not of works, you can’t judge, we are not perfect, and we stumble and struggle with sin every day!
And they mean sins such as addictions to smoking, drinking, fornication, cussing, or just a great love OF the world and being proud of being OF the world and OF the apostate worldly church at the same time!
Instructing them in the way to righteousness is a very daunting mission I am afraid due to the fact that most are under the strong delusion, where their beloved preacher instills in their hearts every Sunday, the saved IN sin message, deeming them saved, washed, and sanctified, while they still wallow in their vile addictions, and complacency!
But perhaps a few seeking souls will come to real repentance, stop sinning because they have the ability to do so, and hope and pray the Lord will relent, and turn them on to His great truth, that can take them from the darkness to the light, free once and for all from the bondages of sin, and the corruption that is in the world through lust!
But most unfortunately are under the snare of the devil, deceived beyond any reaching, sitting comfortably in their favorite church that tells them all is well, you are saved, you do nothing, just try to do better, and do not listen to those who tell you that you must repent as God commands, to begin to receive anything from God especially the truth!
You have a choice to do the will of God, or the will of the devil, there is no gray area here! There is no debating which sins to stop, and which ones you can continue, NO, you must come out of her, seek the mercy of God, and escape the snare of the evil one, and the false ministers of sin, telling you constantly you are the Romans wretch, the chief of sinners, desperately wicked, because you were born that way, and many more lies entangling your soul into the depths of darkness, where the light is snuffed out by your rebellious attitude towards the commands of God!
1Ti 4:1 But the Spirit expressly says that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits and teachings of demons. (Doctrines of demons)

I'm confused by your most recent post, Tommy. Are you preaching to yourself? You quote yourself and then respond to it...Or are you just elaborating?

Sometimes, I make sure I fast and pray before coming here to CC. That minimizes the possibility I'll snap on someone.
I normally grab a hard boiled egg first thing with coffee, lest low blood sugar cause the very thing you fast to avoid!

I believe in original sin, I was baptised as a baby. I was raised in a Christian household and attended Christian schools. I don't read my Bible as often as I should, but more often than I used too. I tend to hold onto grudges at times. I tend to talk too much and not let others speak (I don't like awkward silences). I'm too trusting and (this hurts) I can be very judgmental of judgmental people.

I really struggle to love the aforementioned person. Personally, I believe sin should be taken seriously but I just don't see any grace from him.
Here's a whole bunch of grace, picked fresh, just for you, Tin. :)

Once mods notice this post they will not only likely shut it down, but Seoul will possibly get an infraction against her, or maybe just a warning. I made some posts a while ago calling people out and got in trouble for them.

Now, i don't care for Tommys posts, or how he treats people, (which is why i put him on ignore) but really at the end of the day, what about a post like this makes you better than him? Most people who don't care for Tommy come in here, laugh and participate, but what about new people? What kind of character will you reflect to others? When a new person comes to this site to seek friends and they see you making threads (or participating in them) do you think you will come across as someone people will want to get to know? Or will they worry you will do the same thing to them one day?

There are some who didn't post at all, or didn't participate in the spirit of the thread. I'm not surprised at the ones that didn't. Some i may not have known well enough to decide. But no one i expected not to be involved was. Those were people i knew enough to feel their character wouldn't allow it.

I knew full well what I might be facing when I wrote this, yes, and quite possibly, a banning as well. I suppose it's a bad thing that I have a tendency to know the consequences and sometimes still proceed. I just happen to not always see it as a bad thing.

And, I do usually write what's on my mind as a general topic.

I do thank everyone here, and appreciate the honesty and graciousness.

ummm...i have no flaws.
AMEN Zao, Finally...someone who speaks the truth!!!

Ok...well...
Sometimes...I like to wait till it's really late at night
And then sneak a drink for myself
That Ive been hiding from myself
But then I tell on myself
then get upset with myself
SO I have to discipline myself
It's important to learn to accept punishment
And self-discipline can be the best form of discipline since you know just how much is needed
Not too little and not too much
But jussst right
Like the 3 bears story about porridge
speaking of porridge
I like oatmeal
Thats another thing I like to wait until its really late at night for
Sometimes cinnamon raisin
sometimes Maple spice
I'm not afraid to pull off the fast lane and enjoy the simple pleasures
A late night snack and a spikey hot cocoa listening to some Beiber

Although I think the worst of it all is sitting on my front porch
Staring across the canyon floor
Thinking about the good "ol glory days
Wishing I was back in Egypt
When everything was Jusssst right and how I liked it
All the choice meats and fruits I could eat
and wondering why life isnt suddenly perfect since the day I chose to follow Christ
Or at least as good when I was a sinner
Hmmm ...perhaps God knows what he's doing
I just wish he'd listen when I think I know better than him!

Yes, hello, thank you
Let the verbal beatings commence

Actually ugly the first few posts werein defense and said they liked his. exhortations...so people post for different reason...i would rather someone say what the thought of me than ignore me..for me that is more loving...i ignore the people i do not care about, or have given up on communicating with, and tommy has used this thread to voice his opinion...

I don't want to participate in a tommy bashing session but the main reasons I comment on and perhaps criticise his posts so often are;

1. They really are too long, I am dyslexic and your posts swim before my eyes. I find it really really hard to read what you are saying because not only are they really long but they flit between your words and scripture and sometimes don't have any paragraph breaks. Please, can you try to make them easier to read?

2. I think that sometimes you scare off people who are unsure or just getting to know Christ. I think you are too brutal and need to remember the love that Jesus showed and shows people. Show some of his love to balance the judgement.

3. You don't know me, or (I presume) anyone else here so how can you judge the people here? You can't see our hearts, only God knows what is inside us.

Before I go I guess my plank (or tree trunk) is my temper. I hold it in check and don't tend to lose it but I have a sharp tongue and it can land me in trouble.

Hey Everyone.

when something, or someone, is on my mind, I write a thread about it. Taylor writes about boyfriends... I write about my everyday life and the people I encounter.
I knew it,

seoulsearch's recent thread:

'At what age/stage did you think you knew everything (or are you in that stage now?) When was the time in your life where your parents didn't seem to know anything, teachers had nothing useful to say, and basically, you saw everyone else in the world as knowing a whole lot less than you?
I went through that phase of thinking I knew a lot in my early 20's. I guess I figured no one understood, and if I could just get out, experience life, and live as an adult, I could surely prove myself. Boy, did God have other plans!! I sure hope I can approach the rest of my life as a LEARNING experience rather than as a Trying To PROVE MYSELF Experience.

I would say I have 2 scales:

1. The How Much I Thought I Knew About Life Scale -- from ages 17-23'

Hmmmmm, I wonder who the inspiration for that thread was lol.
