Hey now! Don't be a hater on men.. ; ) ....just because we talk like we're on twitter....brief and to the point....women on the other hand will describe all the details down to the milliseconds....you would need a blog.....

hence men: twitter conversers
women: blog type conversers........

so true! i remember reading how many words a day a woman speaks vs how many men speak.

it was shockingly different! and now you're limited to 140 characters per post. ;)

you know, my dear, everyone needs a hobby. lol

i suspect you don't have trouble with the UK accent called received pronunciation? (correct me, UK friends)
it's what you hear from a news anchor, er, i mean presenter! posh uni-grad type speaking. i like all the UK accents, northern being among my faves.

i wonder why most people seem to gravitate toward deeper voices?
I'm not sure why men like deep voices for women, but I think women like deep voices in men because it seems more masculine. It seems like deep voiced men are more gentle, too. I don't know why.

I think Jeremy Irons has a great voice. I remember when I was visiting London, Westminster Abbey offered audio headsets with his voice narration for the tour of the cathedral. His voice was perfect for that. I also like Liam Neeson's voice. Morgan Freeman is also great.

interesting observation! all the men i know with deep voices are gentle, in fact.

my dad had a bass voice he could make very powerful, yet rarely did... wish i had a recording of it. it's why i was wondering if parents' voices may have anything to do with personal preference.
