I have a friend whose voice I adore and I wanna bottle it and keep it forever. I've actually suggested that he read the phone book

I like Jon Hamm's voice and Mike Rowe's voice. I also like the sound of my Husbands voice, it's smooth.
I should have known that someone would say Mike Rowe before I could. :p He's got a seriously great voice.

Thanks for posting! I thoroughly enjoyed Rowe reading the phone book. ;)

Voices are a thing for me...

After reading this thread, now I want to hear all of your voices...

I might watch if you say he spoke more clearly there. ;)
I don't know about you guys, but it takes me a while to get accustomed to heavy accents. After a while they seem a lot more normal to me and I understand them better. When I'm watching British TV shows, it's fascinating to me how the first few episodes I struggle to understand all of the words, and then after that it's easy.

It's not really the accent sometimes. There are people who just don't talk clearly, like they are almost drunk but they are sober.

I see the mention different accents within the same country. The way we speak has always fascinated me. I think singing voices are deceptive in that they don't always give away ones nationality or true accent. I'm thinking ABBA at the moment. I remember their songs and then I'd see an interview when they sounded so different.

I could listen to James McAvoy for hours. I thought he is british, I just found out he is scottish.
that reminds me of the actor Michael Kitchen--good voice! he did a series called "Foyle's War".

McAvoy guest starred in an episode, in case you're wondering what i'm on about. :p
