I drive a Mazda 3 S Sport and it's great. The new design on the Tc...I just can't dig it. The Velosters are unique but I can't decide whether I like the body style or not.

My vote is going to the Mazda!

I like the Mazda best. I had a Mazda something once, it was an awesome very reliable car.

Well, I don't know anything about cars either but I can say this thread is whole lot more fun than how some of the others have turned out lately, including my own.

Though Siberian Khatru seems to be causing a ruckus in another thread... that might require even MORE modesty than what's already been displayed. :p

Now, to make this a legal post: I'd say my car has a very modest personality.

No one currently asks me for rides, therefore, I know it's not somehow scantily seducing anyone.

I'm sure, of course, that this has NOTHING to do with ME being somewhat scary or threatening at all.

It simply means that my car is being modest.

Oh, I love you, my dear sister. Thanks for making me snort-laugh!

HA! Plus if you ever have a wreck in a Miata theres the added enbarassment of standing on the side of the road with a sweater tied around your waist.
What does that even MEAN? I've wrecked my Miata, and did nothing of the sort.

Nothing like a Miata. Giant wind-up toy car that's simply missing the big key in the back...
Truly spoken as one who has never driven one.

(And hey don't they blow up if you hit them too hard from behind???!!)
Technically, that's true of ANY vehicle carrying combustible fluids. So...uh, yeah. Just like EVERY OTHER CAR ON THE ROAD. On the other hand...if you're making a joke about the Ford Pinto...I don't even know how that relates here. I suppose we could talk about elephants for a while, and then someone could make a vague reference to a raccoon for some odd reason, since...they're both mammals, I guess.

*is so confused*

That's the Ford Pinto.

That one was a life sucking diva.

To the OP, do you need 4 doors or 2. I mean, only the 3 has 4 doors...

Are you more of a truck man beardo?

Oh man, I never thought I'd get to say that.

I drive a crossover SUV. Not quite a truck, not quite a car, but good in the snow and the fuel economy falls between the two extremes. Oh and 3 rows of seat so it can haul people OR junk from the store.

I've been driving Honda for all my life.. and gotta admit those Mazda 3's (sedan or hatchback) and Subaru Impreza Hatchbacks/Crosstrek have been grabbing my attention lately. I have never really paid any attention on these two car brand except a few notable models, but I'm really liking their design cues more and more I look at them.

And personally I think the best angle for Mazda 3 is either from side or 3/4 view that shows rear end.

Have you checked FIAT's Avventura? It is drop-dead gorgeous! :D

To the OP - I always prefer a European car to an Asian one (my 2013 Honda has been such a disappointment). But out of the 3 you mentioned, I would have to pick the Hyundai.

Really? I did like the last gen Mazda 3 smiley better than current one TBH.
Really? That's interesting. There are two last gen Mazda 3 in white at my work place and thought they were pretty cool until the current gen models came along. Yeah, it was little too smiley for my taste haha.

The only flaw I see in the poll is that there is no "I wouldn't spend a dime on any of them" option.

Like Wisebeardman, I gotta have my truck. I've never owned anything else, other than a couple of small cars that I bought cheap, fixed up, and sold for a profit within a couple of weeks.

Now this vehicle has personality.

Out of the three, I like the Mazda. I almost went with the Hyundai but it looks like a hatchback and I don't really care for those.

I'd love a 1967 Ford Mustang Fastback. Or a dark blue, brand new Corvette. But not only can I not afford those, I would be wayyyyy too tempted to speed, go loud and fast, and I really don't need speeding tickets. :)

It does hurt my heart a little when I see people who do have those cars but are driving 10 under the speed limit. :(
