Greeting fellow posters.

I saw this post and found it intriguing because I fall into an even more bizarre category.

So, here's my input. Although I like chocolate candy-bars, white chocolate and hot cocoa, I absolutely can't stand the taste of chocolate ice cream, cake, pudding or anything else chocolate. How's that for weird and bizarre?

Anyone else share my taste or sentiment? :)

Many blessings.

E6 my grandmother has something *kind of* like that. She likes dark and milk chocolate bars, chocolate cake, hot chocolate, chocolate pudding... but for some reason she doesn't like chocolate ice cream or mocha coffee drinks. Just those two chocolate things she doesn't like.

And even there she still likes chocolate ice cream, but ONLY Blue Bell dutch chocolate ice cream. It has a different texture than regular chocolate ice cream though, and a much stronger dutched chocolate flavor. Any other chocolate ice cream, forget it.

I prefer dark chocolate if I have my choice, but they're all good. :sneaky:

Chocolate almonds might be my favorite chocolate thing. That's my go-to snack at the movie theatre.

Dark every single time and my favorite combo with dark chocolate is raspberry... my least favorite is orange.

I’m team dark chocolate. It was a bit of an acquired taste for some of it. I’ve tried some of the keto friendly chocolate and some of it tastes like it’s straight coffee. Keto Bark was a bit tastier.

I dream of a day in which all Chocolate is treated equal , not depending on the color of its flavor!

Wait...does that make any sense?

Hey Everyone,

Yesterday I was just going about life, innocently minding my own business (cough, cough,) when suddenly... Last night I happened to go into the "What would you rather have?" thread, and cast my eyes upon this post:

Little did I know that while I dared to leave our beloved Singles Forum for a few short hours, our own sweet, effervescent Tinuviel would be busy staging an uprising! :(

And so, dear members, I see that we have no other choice but to talk about The Ultimate Dealbreaker when it comes to participating in our Infamous Singles Forum Shenanigans...

Which type of chocolate do you prefer?

If you'll give me just a few moments, I'm going to post a poll in which people can see your answers, just for fun. (And if you'd like to see the entire conversation that inspired this thread, hop on over to the "What would you rather have?" thread, starting with post #12.)

There was also some discussion about a tolerance for meatloaf in that particular conversation, and although I threatened to make a thread that incorporated both chocolate AND meatloaf together in one post, I figured, we'd better take it easy and just tackle one thing at a time. :)

So, be sure to cast your vote--and tell us WHY you hold to your preferences in your post! :)

Everyone is welcome to join in--choose your side, if you so dare.

(As you can see, Team Seoul is voting for 1. milk chocolate, because it just tastes better!!! :D and 2. white chocolate, because it's always good to have options--except dark. :p)

I know that dark chocolate seems to be the "in" thing with many current posters... and so I am asking all my fellow chocolate rebels show us your true chocolate "temper"ament.

Who else out there is cuckoo for cocoa... and in what form? :)
I choose all forms and flavors of chocolate...although dark is divine! I like coconut, cherries, nuts, toffee..anything.
I'm not prejudice whatsoever!

Now Kim...back to the meatloaf...I'm still feeling I could get you to like it!😝

I love meatloaf as long it has two things.. lots of ketchup and mushrooms :)
I believe there is a version of meatloaf for everone out there. There are several versions I've made. Honestly, I haven't made a meatloaf that wasn't likable.

Did you take that from Dr Martin Luther King Jnrs dream speech?

If so, then yes it made perfect sense.

I really don't want to start a food fight but no mushrooms on the meatloaf. On a pizza they would be acceptable though along with onions, banana peppers and sausage. Interestingly, there seems to be a slight anti-bias toward meatloaf on this site. For the record, I'm pro-meatloaf.

I think people who eat dark chocolate don't really like it, they just think it makes them superior to is milk chocolate folk.

I got news for y'all..... our army is vastly larger, and will accept nothing but complete victory.
Whoa! Woah! Woah! Tommy! Back that ride up here! I thought we were friends?😝 How can you diss my love for dark chocolate? Thats about equal to saying you're crazy for liking bacon and red meat! I'm saying people who are normal like strong coffee and like their chocolate and everything else strong too! Like I said before...I like all kinds...no predjudice here.😎
