Yes of course we want men who read the bible and go to church with us.
But have you looked around the churches now a days? It is so hard to find responsible, interesting men that are God fearing now a days, honestly. The men that love Christ and are on fire for Him seem to be off working for Him somewhere and the ones that stayed home, often are bickering and hypocritical or not sold out for Christ.
Many seem boring, they are not culturally educated (at least here in the south) and ignorant of issues happening around us.
At least that has been my experience. And then you come across these secular men that have more love and compassion in their small fingers than any christian men we encounter at church. And it is no wonder that we hope we can "missionary Date" and that with prayer these wonderful men we meet that don't know Christ will find Him. Eventually.
That has been tempting personally many times, but not really. I'd rather be single then to date a secular person but - dating in the christian pool is painful.
