I did the same thing. Because babies grab hair. And it hurts. Haha.

When my son was a toddler he'd come up behind me and rip hair out of my head, roots and all, then he'd eat it. I would give him a firm no and waited it out, but when it got to be a while and he wouldn't stop I talked the Doctor. She ran a blood test to make sure he wasn't lacking something he needed. He was OK. She was afraid he'd get hair ball's. It hurt so bad, I was nervous when he'd come near me. I decided at thAt point to cut my hair very short. I also put more product in it, so maybe the taste or sticky texture would turn him off. It did help, he couldn't grasp enough to pull anymore. He also would pull at the carpet and put thAt in his mouth. The carpet was old and gross so I ripped it out. My husband had some surprises that day. He was actually very impressed that I could rip carpets out by myself.

I prefer long hair just for the simple fact that I like it that way. I see shorter cuts that are pretty... but I just like it long on myself.

2 more months and it's an anniversary of my short hair. It's been decades that i never had one, so i thought of exploring that feeling of having one again. Frankly, my hair has always been a friend when i felt excited and/or burdened with many ups and downs.

I remembered the reason why i had mine short was to mark the winning of my previous elementary student in his University Student Council Presidency. haha! And the second reason is to celebrate my first summer here in Desert Dubai, in which it's abundant with sunshine.

And now, i like to have it long again, that is because i enjoy my stay in this beautiful city.

We have too many ways of coping the circumstances that life has thrown at us in the open, and i guess, hair-styling is one of that. At least, not the worst we could ever think of coping. :)

I've seen some short hair look very nice on some women, but generally I love long hair.

My hairs are quite long..I used to do hair braiding styles for my hairs..It is easy and looks attractive too...I mostly prefer messy style which totally suits on my hair...

I love long hair. It always makes woman look so.....feminine I guess. Maybe it's maternal. I'll probably get in trouble for that but femininity should never be lost. Not on a woman's quest for respect or success or some worldly view of leadership. I've always considered long hair a kind of a Samson-like strength-holding symbol of womanhood. There are plenty of women that can pull this off with short hair, but it just seems so much easier with long.

Then go ahead and grow it out - that way you'll like your hair and your kids will have plenty to eat.

When I think of long hair, I remember what the bible says about hair on a woman.
However, when I see short hair, this is what I'm drawn to.
In my universe, short hair has a fleshly appeal. Long hair reminds me of what the bible sets forth as a womanly standard.

A woman can have a variety of reasons for choosing one over the other. I've heard that some don't like having to groom long hair. That short hair is easier to maintain, not as hot temperature wise.

But I'm speaking as to what I as a man think and experience when I behold the hair of a woman.

That's why I keep my hair short, if it gets long enough to where I have to comb it or brush it.....it's time to shave it all off

Short hair is very practical and not at odds with anything in our culture. Thumbs up for short hair!

I tend to like it shoulder length, or somewhere close. Or longer. I once dated a woman with really short hair, like a man's, and she did this little tease with gel ,curly thing on top. Was just too masculine for me. It matched her well, very bossy and very cocky. I like femininity in a woman, I can't help it.

My hair is long and thick and curly and if I cut it short I'd probably look like a poodle who stuck its toe in an electric socket. So, my hair is long out of necessity. Also, because I like it that way.

My hair is straight and fine, which I loved wearing down to my waist as a teenager in the grunge years. It doesn't look great long now that I'm a professional. Now it's chin-length and layered, almost like a bob. If I ever get a defined jaw-line, I want a pixie like Jennifer Lawerence.

My hair is actually straight in my avatar. :p I did a fall photo shoot with my mom and my hair was curly, and then a winter one with it straightened. I rarely straighten it anymore. Ain't nobody got time fo dat!
