Asking God to show Himself is still testing; no matter which way I spin it whoever you talked to is wrong. God doesn't confirm Himself physically, mentally, or emotionally (usually). However, when you confess your sins, the Holy Spirit will enter into you and the feeling of the Holy Spirit living in you will be more than enough. Trust me!
So let me tell you again; asking God to show Himself, no matter how much you want Him to, is STILL insulting to Him; you're telling Him what to do! Opening your heart regardless; if you don't accept Jesus Christ as your personal savior, and if you don't pray the sinner's prayer, you're not going to have the Holy Spirit within you!
Don't give up; you're still on the wrong track! Once you're on the right track; then you'll understand what we're talking about!

I can only speak for myself on this point, but as a person I do not care if your christian I would like you either way....But being a christian and knowing how it has helped my life you always want people to find Christ since it does help and there is eternal salvation in him thats my belief. However that does not mean I do not think your nice brave person who I would be friends with.

Your salvation does matter to me. The thing is, people usually think Christianity is "just another religion"; it's not. Christianity is a personal relationship with God. And that is the most important relationship anyone can have. That's why I care if you're a Christian; because we all know what it was like before becoming a Christian, and after. I'll take 'after' any day, thank you very much.
Your story has broken my heart, and it breaks my heart even deeper to know that you believe that the one and true God isn't a loving God.
I will tell you why we believe God is a true and Loving God.
It is recorded in history, by christian and non-christian medium and witnesses that Jesus lived, Jesus performed miracles, Jesus was nailed to a cross and
tortured, and he rose on the third day. There are over 60 prophecies in the old testament about the coming savior and Jesus Fulfilled ALL of them without
exception. ALL of this is an undeniable fact. Now think about this, how could a carpenter who had no riches and who never sought after fame, who is so
humble, who's most important command for those who believed in him is to love one another, a man who we claim to have changed our lives and indeed he
has changed each and every one of our lives, even indirectly of those who don't believe in him, how could the WHOLE world have heard about this man?
If his disciples ,who were with him until the day he died and saw him face to face and saw his miracles and saw him nailed to the cross and risen from the grave, weren't sure that he was the true son of God why would they even bother to write so meticulous and rigorously everything they were taught and all that they experienced with him unless it was in fact true? and how could these scriptures be so relevant to us in these times? There is no monetary interest behind any of this, no one gains money from anyone believing in Jesus because you don't even have to go to Church to believe in him. The sole purpose of Jesus was to come as a sacrifice for our sins. He claimed to be the true son of God, he called him his father and evidence shows us he was no liar. As a mother that you are, imagine the pain of seeing your own son being tortured, despised and nailed to a cross, imagine that feeling. That is what the true living God was willing to feel in order to free all of humanity of sin. No other God walked among his creation, and no other God would die for those who believed in him. God loves you like no body else can because his love is infinite. There are no coincidences in this life. God is knocking at the door of your heart and he wants to stay with you forever. You and I can agree that all humanity sins, and sin is destructive it causes pain to us, evil things that people do to us break us and sins we do to others break them. That is why Jesus died on the cross, to take that away from you and give you life. You think we profit from you believing all this? you think all of us write all this stuff because we wan't to feel superior to you because we know this? you think we would take our time to write you back anything and say that God loves you? NO! we do this because we love you and because we have noticed radical changes in our lives that can't be explained by human planning or will. We want to see you love life as we do. we care about you, but more importantly God cares about you. All it takes is to confess to him that we are sinners and that it is only thanks to Jesus's sacrifice that we can ever talk to him and receive the GIFT of eternal life.
My friend my best hopes and wishes to you, and whether you read this or not i want you to know we are here for you and we love you.
