Honestly, the reason people are ignoring questions, or so you read it that way, is because those questions have been answered in every way possible already. And if the answer isn't understood by now, then there's no other way to explain it.

sis, I love ya.

but you can say the answers have been given all you want,l that does not make it true.. Many questions have been asked all over this chatroom, which some people refuse to answer, and claim they did.

so don't come saying they have been answered when they have not. if i would ever do this to you. i would expect you to call me out on it also!

They have all been answered. You are just determined to make the wicked live forever. Perhaps it's just wishful thinking.

If I were wicked, I would want to be able to be alive forever to. I would lie to myself and convince myself that I would never die. I will always exist... Cause that what I want!!!!!

A satan worshipper once said, that Satan told him he wouldn't die in the flames... Satan convinced this poor fellow that he had mastered the flame. He told this fellow that he can lower the temperature of the flames. He said that is how he makes it possible for people to walk on beds of coals....

Satan lied,,, I do beleive he has mastered the flame to a certain degree ( no pun inteneded). But he cannot control the fire that God shall cause to fall on him and wicked humans.. They will both be turned to Ash!

God says Satan will become ashes. I believe God. I'm sorry you don't.

there you go twisting again.

I said samual was in paradise.

I never stated where I thought saul went. Samuel said Saul would be with him. I did not..Your argument again is with samual (and God because God inspired the word) not us. Your calling God a liar.

stop your continual bearing false witness against others. and calling God a liar. As an sda you should be afraid of continually breaking one of the ten commandments. your eternity is at stake!

You obviously do not understand saved under grace, and hence, are able by the power of Christ to keep the commandments, so you make that accusation.

Here's another way of putting why it couldn't have been the real Samuel that spoke to Saul.

Texts in question: 1 Samuel 28:11–15

“Then the woman said, ‘Whom shall I bring up for you?’ And he said, ‘Bring Samuel up for me.’ When the woman saw Samuel, she cried out with a loud voice. And the woman spoke to Saul, saying, ‘Why have you deceived me? For you are Saul!’ And the king said to her, ‘Do not be afraid. What did you see?’ And the woman said to Saul, ‘I saw a spirit ascending out of the earth.’ So he said to her, ‘What is his form?’ And said, ‘An old man is coming up, and he is covered with a mantle.’ And Saul perceived that it was Samuel, and he stooped with his face to the ground and bowed down. Now Samuel said to Saul, ‘Why have you disturbed me by bringing me up?’ And Saul answered, ‘I am deeply distressed; for the Philistines make war against me, and God has departed from me and does not answer me anymore, neither by prophets nor by dreams. Therefore I have called you, that you may reveal to me what I should do.’ ”

Proof texts: 1 Samuel 28:6; Deuteronomy 18:10–12

The story of the witch of Endor, found in 1 Samuel 28, tells a sad tale of the results of disobedience toward God. Saul was a powerful spiritual leader. God appointed him to be the first king over Israel. He was a mighty ruler and was filled with the spirit of God.

However, he was also a stubborn man. He was weak in many ways, and he refused to repent when confronted with his sins. Instead, he chose rebellion against the Lord. He steadily lost power over the latter part of his reign and eventually died by his own hand.

By the time he consulted the witch at Endor, he had become a desperate man. God no longer answered his prayers, and he felt increasingly powerless over his enemies, his kingdom, and himself. In desperation, he asked the witch to raise the spirit of the dead prophet Samuel, who had been his counsel while he was alive.

Many people use the story of Saul’s encounter with the spirit summoned by the witch as proof that people continue to live in spiritual form after death. How else, they reason, can Samuel have appeared to Saul during this Old Testament séance?

Truly, if it were the actual spirit of Samuel, we could draw conclusions about death and the afterlife. However, if the spirit was simply impersonating Samuel, then we can draw no real conclusions at all. The Bible is very clear that demons can impersonate other beings, even beings of light, but are not, themselves, deceased human beings (see 2 Corinthians 11:14).

Samuel was a faithful man for his entire life. He was dedicated to the service of God at his birth, and he received direct communications from heaven until his death. Unquestionably, he had God’s favor. If he were alive in spiritual form after death, he would surely be in heaven in the presence of the Lord.

This should help us know the true nature of this spirit. God had chosen to stop communicating with Saul because of his rebellion and refusal to repent. First Samuel 28:6 makes God’s silence plain:

“And when Saul inquired of the Lord, the Lord did not answer him, either by dreams or by Urim or by the prophets.”

The Bible plainly states that God refused to speak to Saul through His prophets. Therefore, if Samuel were still alive, he would not have received any word from God for Saul. Yet the story with the witch tells us that the spirit “Samuel” did speak to Saul, and even delivered a prophetic message to him (see 1 Samuel 28:16–19). If God did not speak to Saul through the prophets, yet Samuel delivered a prophetic message anyway, then Samuel would have been in rebellion against God. Why would Samuel, a man who was obedient to God every moment of his life, choose to rebel after his death? It’s simply illogical.

We must also remember that God gave specific instructions to His people against performing witchcraft, sorcery, necromancy, or even associating with people who did these things. The Bible plainly warns in Deuteronomy 18:10–12:

“There shall not be found among you anyone who makes his son or daughter pass through the fire, or one who practices witchcraft, or a soothsayer, or one who interprets omens, or a sorcerer, or one who conjures spells, or a medium, or a spiritist, or one who calls up the dead. For all who do these things are an abomination to the Lord, and because of these abominations the Lord your God drives them out from before you.”

Saul was aware of this instruction. He had evicted all mediums and spiritists from the land of Israel during his reign (1 Samuel 28:3). Therefore, when he consulted the witch at Endor, he was breaking God’s command as well as his own. The spirit that appeared to him could not have been from heaven, because God had specifically forbidden all such forms of communication with the dead.

If the spirit wasn’t Samuel, it could only have been a demon. Demons appearing to people on earth do not tell us anything about life after death.

How did Saul speak to Samuel at Endor? > Truth About Death

They have all been answered. You are just determined to make the wicked live forever. Perhaps it's just wishful thinking.
Nope. Not wishfull thinking. I wish personally they would all die eternally with no conscious. Thus if I have family memebers who die without Christ I would never have to worry when they die of what their eternity will be like.

It is Gods word.

If I were wicked, I would want to be able to be alive forever to. I would lie to myself and convince myself that I would never die. I will always exist... Cause that what I want!!!!!
You would want to live forever apart from god. KNOWING you deserved this just wage of rejecting Christ?

Ok.. I see..

A satan worshipper once said, that Satan told him he wouldn't die in the flames... Satan convinced this poor fellow that he had mastered the flame. He told this fellow that he can lower the temperature of the flames. He said that is how he makes it possible for people to walk on beds of coals....

Yep. A lie. so people do not have to believe in judgment, and rejecting Christ is not so bad after all. We do not have to fear. we can live our lives however we please. and there will be no consequences. We will just vanish forever. Why bother giving up my sin and turning to God??

Satan wants you to believe this, and he wants you to teach this/. so people have no need to come to christ.

Satan is just as afraid of the flame as anyone else. he knows his fate, and he is going to try to bring everyone he can with him. Thanks to you, He has help!

I do. I've read every post on this thread. Honestly, most questions you didn't ask me, but I still felt totally exhausted for the person you did ask, as I'd seen the answer posted by way of scriptures multiple times. You just plain can't see the answer, and yet you accuse and accuse the other person. You've no idea why people who believe in keeping the sabbath view these things and yet you accuse about that. I suppose the problem is the same in both areas.

this alone makes me want to ignore everything you ever say. But I am not like this.

what amazes me is just not to long ago we spoke on this very matter, and we agreed we have the same gospel of grace.

I believe in saved by grace alone

I believe one can never lose salvation, that it is in Christ not myself

I believe John when he said those born of God can not sin, because we have God in us, and those who sin have never seen god not known him.

Your buddy mikey here however does not believe this.

I find it amazing, I believe what you just claimed I did not. and your buddy does not. yet because he is with you on this topic. your defending him..

This answer shows that we're never going to understand one another. Apparently, you've not understood anything said by the other side of the argument so far. It's amazing you actually expect that side to perpetually (maybe there's the operative word for a number of reasons) reexplain their position by posting scriptures and then you people accuse your opponent of not answering questions after they've already proved by way of those scriptures their position so many times it's perfectly ridiculous. It is true that both of us cannot be right about this.

Honestly, I believed as you did once, as I already said, and I heard the same answers you're giving me and never was satisfied because they contradict scriptures, plus they just plain don't make sense. So when I finally found some people that could explain why this position did not make sense according to all the scriptures already presented on this thread, I literally rejoiced. Because scriptures all fit together then and all made perfect sense, not to mention the fact that they finally made perfectly logical sense.

Your position not only does not match up with all scripture, it doesn't make a lick of sense. You can have it, because you're obviously more than willing to ignore everything said here so you can hang onto it.
Sorry for your unbelief of the NT.

Well go ahead and ignore it as I should this forum. It's not like I should subject myself continually to things that accomplish nothing but abject frustration on my part anyway. Good luck Michael. But remember, a person can only take so much frustration. God does not expect us to beat our heads against brick walls until our brains start oozing out. The brick wall remains regardless.

what amazes me is that we feel the same way, Like we are beating our heads against the wall also. This is not just you sis.

I know your saved, I have heard your gospel testimony. This is not a salvic subject (although someone seems to be trying to make it one) thus it is not worth getting up in arms over, thus I pray you do not take anything I have said as an insult. I am just sharing my faith in this matter.

As for not answering question. Yes, Most of them in this room have been answered. But many of my questions in other threads (which you probably have not even seen) have not been. That is why I am so frustrated!

Again. I am not just talking about this room.

One question has never been answered. What was abrahams status when Christ said he was alive.

I saw many verses, BUT NONE OF THEM ANSWERED THE QUESTION.

The questions I am talking about are questions asked mikey here and john concerning eternal life of the believer based on faith, WHICH HAVE NEVER BEEN ANSWERED.

Abraham is dead, in the grave. And his "spirit" that returned unto God is nothjing more than the Breath of Life!!!

The main reason I began this thread, is to warn people that Satan is about to decieve billions thru the Agency of the Dead!

God has made it very clear to me that those who believe the dead are alive will be decieved in the last moments of time! Satan and his demons will personate the dead.

For a long time Satan has readied folks to believe his lie that the dead are alive. He prompts people to make movies and television shows about ghosts, supernatural phenonema, mediums ect. So, when he and his demons personate the dead,,the living will be convinced beyond doubt, thus they will certainly be decieved.

There will be no atheists in the very last days. Once atheists see these remarkable miracles,, they will admit that God exists. And they will attribute the miracles worked by Satan as coming from God. They were decieved before they witnessed Satan's miracle working power,, and because they did not believe the Truth,, they will continue to be decieved by believing the workings of Satan are that of God. They are doomed! All who believe the dead are alive in the last days, will be decieved by Satan.

This lie that the dead live on,, came from Satan in Eden: "Ye shall not surely die".

Understanding that the dead know nothing,, is a Safeguard against the deceptions of Satan.

Nobody who believes the dead are alive,, can truthfully say, that satan cannot decieve them thru the Agency of the dead.

If you believe the dead are alive,, then you must give attention to what they claim or say!

If you know the dead know nothing and are not alive,,,,Satans last day deception will not work against you.

Have a nice day.

Honestly, the reason people are ignoring questions, or so you read it that way, is because those questions have been answered in every way possible already. And if the answer isn't understood by now, then there's no other way to explain it.
The answers given were not the ones that were desired. Kinda like...

Are we there yet?
Are we there yet?

I read your post and the best way to get to the heart of the issue is tell you what I believe.

I believe when Jesus appears in the clouds, the saved, both dead and alive will meet Jesus in the air. Then, I believe Jesus will take us to heaven, where the Holy city is now at.
1 Thessalonians 4:14
The Return of the Lord

13But I would not have you to be ignorant, brothers, concerning them which are asleep, that you sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. 14For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. 15For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain to the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep

Revelation 6
9When he opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain because of the word of God and the testimony they had maintained. 10They called out in a loud voice, “How long, Sovereign Lord, holy and true, until you judge the inhabitants of the earth and avenge our blood?” 11Then each of them was given a white robe, and they were told to wait a little longer, until the full number of their fellow servants, their brothers and sisters,e were killed just as they had been.

oh....they're crying and talking to the Lord....but they are dead. just AIR from their nostrils is talking?

I believe we will spend 1000 years in heaven where the Holy city is at. I believe one of the activities the saved will be doing in heaven is judging both, wicked humans, and wicked angels.
are they all in heaven facing judgement?
or are they tried in absentia?

After the 1000 years,, I believe we will return with the Holy City Jerusalem, along with God the Father, Jesus, and all the angels, and the Holy City shall land on the earth (where the mount of olives is now).
so....you said the lake of fire is fire coming down from heaven and consuming the wicked on earth.
is that after you are in heaven for 1,000 exact literal years Judging them all?

So,, I got Jesus coming to the earth 3 times:

1, First Coming, to Bethlehem in a manger
2, Second Coming,,in the clouds at the beginning of the 1000 years to take His people to heaven.
3. Third Coming, with the Holy City and all the Righteous at the close of the 1000 years.

That's what I beleive. If you have any questions,, I will give you scriptures to support my belief.

Thanks for the reply.
i know the scriptures you will give to support your belief.
you have it wrong, dear.

the SYMBOLIC number a thousand is right NOW.
Christians who have "fallen asleep" are present with the Lord.

how about this:

First Advent.......symbolic hebraism for fullness - a thousand years....SECOND ADVENT Judgment - eternity

the NEW heavens and earth, New Jerusalem and eternity is ALL new.

Hebrews 11
32And what more shall I say? I do not have time to tell about Gideon, Barak, Samson and Jephthah, about David and Samuel and the prophets, 33who through faith conquered kingdoms, administered justice, and gained what was promised; who shut the mouths of lions, 34quenched the fury of the flames, and escaped the edge of the sword; whose weakness was turned to strength; and who became powerful in battle and routed foreign armies. 35Women received back their dead, raised to life again. There were others who were tortured, refusing to be released so that they might gain an even better resurrection. 36Some faced jeers and flogging, and even chains and imprisonment. 37They were put to death by stoning;e they were sawed in two; they were killed by the sword. They went about in sheepskins and goatskins, destitute, persecuted and mistreated— 38the world was not worthy of them. They wandered in deserts and mountains, living in caves and in holes in the ground.

39These were all commended for their faith, yet none of them received what had been promised, 40 since God had planned something better for us so that only together with us would they be made perfect.

John 8
54Jesus replied, “If I glorify myself, my glory means nothing. My Father, whom you claim as your God, is the one who glorifies me. 55Though you do not know him, I know him. If I said I did not, I would be a liar like you, but I do know him and obey his word. 56Your father Abraham rejoiced at the thought of seeing my day; he saw it and was glad.”

57“You are not yet fifty years old,” they said to him, “and you have seen Abraham!”

58“Very truly I tell you,” Jesus answered, “before Abraham was born, I am!” 59At this, they picked up stones to stone him, but Jesus hid himself, slipping away from the temple grounds.

You need to warn people about what satan is doing through your teaching. Your giving him amunition to teach their is no afterlife for the dead. thus there is no need to turn to christ, we have nothing to fear. for we will not be there.

Why should I repent of my sin and change my life for Christ when this lifetime is but a short lifetime? If eternity is not real. I have no need to follow God. I can live as I wish, no consequences.

keep feeding satan's lie.. He is pulling for you!
Not only are you teaching a works based gospel which will not save anyone, but your giving people who do not really want to come to god a reason not too.

You should be proud!

These scriptures speak of DEATH. ETERNAL DEATH!
Well, I don't actually need to look at the original languages here, for they are not your problem.
Your problem is simply misunderstanding.

SATANS DEATH:

"And I turned you to ashes upon the earth.....You have become a horror and shall be no more, forever. (Ezekiel 28:18,19)
This was not spoken to Satan.
Satan will be tormented in the lake of fire forever and ever.

WICKED HUMANS DEATH:

"..all who do wickedly will be stubble. And the day which is coming shall burn them up...You shall trample the wicked, for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet....." (Malachi 4:1,3)
This refers to their bodies, not their spirits.

Summary: Satan (Fallen angels) become ashes.
Wicked humans become ashes. All dead, all gone,,,Like God says, "..shall be no more, forever."
Satan is not discussed, and bodies, not spirits, become ashes.

And in case your wondering what will happen to the smoke of them that are burning up:

"But the wicked shall perish; And the enemies of the Lord,,,shall vanish. Into smoke they shall vanish away."
Indeed, their bodies will vanish. . .until the Final Judgment when they will be resurrected to face the Judgment.

You must be joking,,,, You are now going to sit here and tell the whole forum that the old testement is wrong,, all of its facts are wrong..ect....lololololol

You continually present evidence that strongly suggests you disbelieve God and is Bible.
Well, actually, I'm going to tell the whole forum that your understanding of the OT is wrong.

Correct understanding of it agrees with the NT.

Unbelief is a terrible sin.
Indeed! Unbelief of the NT is a terrible sin!
