First of all, God does not accept homosexuality. Yes, it is a sin, but that does not mean God condemns the person he just wants them to see the error of their ways just like anyone coming from an addiction, different background, etc. So yes love the person who believes they are homosexual but do not love the thoughts or homosexual activities that they do. God does not think in labels there are no ''gays'' in his book. It is about coming as you are to the throne of grace and being transformed. Homosexuals are not born that way, that has to do with other factors that may lead one to have those desires, desire that company, etc. Also marriage is between a man and a woman, husband and wife. Jesus talks about this, here is the verse:
Matthew 19:4-6
Haven’t you read,” he replied, “that at the beginning the Creator ‘made them male and female,’[SUP][[/SUP]and said, ‘For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh’? So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate.”
Genesis 2:20-24But for Adam[SUP][[/SUP] no suitable helper was found. So the Lord God caused the man to fall into a deep sleep; and while he was sleeping, he took one of the man’s ribs[SUP][[/SUP]and then closed up the place with flesh. Then the Lord God made a woman from the rib he had taken out of the man, and he brought her to the man.
The man said,
“This is now bone of my bones
and flesh of my flesh;
she shall be called ‘woman,’
for she was taken out of man.”
That is why a man leaves his father and mother and is united to his wife, and they become one flesh.
So God loves the homosexual, adulterer, thief, etc but does not like the sin and wishes that they would repent, confess it and others, etc to Him. Then they will becomes transformed and they can give their chains to Him both on that day and everyday. God has the key and he can free them from it. There is hope for those who have same-sex attractions and other things and that hope is in Jesus Christ. Who died on the cross for their sins and rose from the dead on the third day and by renouncing their lifestyle, they will be saved and becoming brand new. It will be tough, they will have problems (just as all Christians do), etc. But God is there and the body of Christ (the church) should and can help them. God bless.
