Does your Bible clearly proclaim the deity of Jesus Christ?
. . .
I started reading, researching, and doing comparisons between different bible translations, I discovered one prominent thing that kept taking place in the modern versions:
A subtle attack on the deity of Jesus Christ. That's right. In many verses of Scripture where the King James Bible clearly proclaims the deity of our Lord Jesus, the modern and new bible versions out there attack His deity. Below are are just several examples between the Authorized King James Version (KJV), New International Version (NIV), English Standard Version (ESV), and New Living Translation (NLT).
Let's look at our first Scripture:

MY TURN to do the Comparison using my three favorite modern Translations, and they all three Capitalize the pronouns that refer to DEITY, while the KJV does NOT. Now which do you think is more respectful of DEITY?
Oh, just so you know, the newer translations had access to older manuscripts found after the KJV to translate from. It is not a translation if you just go from the KJV to modern English, that would only be a paraphrase. A VALID Translation must always be TRANSLATED from original language manuscripts, OR it cannot be called a TRANSLATION The newer Translations had some older manuscripts than the KJV Translators had available to them, thus the older original language manuscripts were used. THERE IS NO "A subtle attack on the deity of Jesus Christ." Could it be that the KJV had an old manuscript that was slightly embellished to make it more understandable? NO ONE KNOWS, BECAUSE we do not have the actual original manuscripts to compare them to.
The Translation that you should use is the one that best speaks to your Heart. And if for you that is the KJV, "Praise the Lord, Hallelujah!" And if anyone else prefers another valid TRANSLATION, like I do, then "Praise the Lord Hallelujah!", for them. Would you not agree that KJV ONLY Zelots are falling for a form bigotry against other VALID Translations? The Bibles I prefer are: "The New King James Version, The New American Standard Bible, and Holman's Christian Standard Bible:
1 Timothy 3:16 (KJV)

[SUP]
18 [/SUP] And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all

{NOTICE, THERE IS NOT ONE Capitol letter on a Pronoun referring to DEITY in the KJV.}
Colossians 1:16-18 (NKJV)

He is before all things, and in
Him all things hold together.
[SUP]
18 [/SUP]
He is also head of the body, the church; and
He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, so that
He Himself will come to have first place in everything.
Colossians 1:16-18 (HCSB)
[SUP]
16 [/SUP] For everything was created by
Him, in heaven and on earth, the visible and the invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities— all things have been created through
Him and for
Him.
[SUP]
17 [/SUP]
He is before all things, and by
Him all things hold together.
[SUP]
18 [/SUP]
He is also the head of the body, the church;
He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, so that
He might come to have first place in everything.
Micah 5:2 (KJV)
[SUP]
2 [/SUP] But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah,
though thou be little among the thousands of Judah,
yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me
that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth
have been from of old, from everlasting.
Micah 5:2 (NKJV)
[SUP]
2 [/SUP] "But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah,
Though you are little among the thousands of Judah,
Yet out of you shall come forth to Me The One to be Ruler in Israel, Whose goings forth
are from of old, From everlasting."
Micah 5:2 (NASB)
[SUP]
2 [/SUP] "But as for you, Bethlehem Ephrathah,
Too little to be among the clans of Judah, From you One will go forth for Me to be ruler in Israel. His goings forth are from long ago, From the days of eternity."
Micah 5:2 (HCSB)
[SUP]
2 [/SUP] Bethlehem Ephrathah, you are small among the clans of Judah; One will come from you to be ruler over Israel for Me. His origin is from antiquity, from eternity.
Matthew 20:20 (KJV)
[SUP]
20 [/SUP] Then came to him the mother of Zebedee's children with her sons,
worshipping him, and desiring a certain thing of him.
Matthew 20:20 (NKJV)
[SUP]
20 [/SUP] Then the mother of Zebedee's sons came to Him with her sons,
kneeling downand asking something from Him.
Matthew 20:20 (NASB)
[SUP]
20 [/SUP] Then the mother of the sons of Zebedee came to Jesus with her sons,
bowing down and making a request of Him.
Matthew 20:20 (HCSB)
[SUP]
20 [/SUP] Then the mother of Zebedee’s sons approached Him with her sons. She
knelt downto ask Him for something.
NOW do you even know why all of those are saying the EXACT SAME THING?
Exodus 20:5 (HCSB)
[SUP]
5 [/SUP]
You must not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the fathers’ sin, to the third and fourth ⌊generations⌋ of those who hate Me,

[SUP]
22 [/SUP] Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth;
for I am God, and there is none else.
[SUP]
23 [/SUP] By myself have I sworn, the word is gone forth from my mouth
in righteousness, and shall not return, that
unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear.
Romans 14:9-13 (NASB)
[SUP]
9 [/SUP] For to this end
Christ died and lived again, that He might be Lord both of the dead and of the living.
[SUP]
10 [/SUP] But you, why do you judge your brother? Or you again, why do you regard your brother with contempt?
For we will all stand before the judgment seat of God.
[SUP]
11 [/SUP] For it is written, "AS I LIVE, SAYS THE LORD,
EVERY KNEE SHALL BOW TO ME, AND EVERY TONGUE SHALL GIVE PRAISE TO GOD."
[SUP]
12 [/SUP] So then each one of us will give an account of himself to God.
[SUP]
13 [/SUP] Therefore let us not judge one another anymore, but rather determine this—not to put an obstacle or a stumbling block in a brother's way.
2 Corinthians 5:10 (NASB)
[SUP]
10 [/SUP] For
we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may be recompensed for his deeds in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad.
See it, we can USE verses that reference kneeling and or bowing to Jesus, to validate that they were recognizing HE is GOD in the flesh who is WORTHY of worship. Bowing and kneeling to HIM most certainly constitutes a form of worship. But who and what must be there in the heart before it really counts as Worship? Right, the HOLY SPIRIT, Who brings into that heart GOD's free gift of Faith in JESUS CHRIST as LORD. Without that, it would not be any more meaningful than THESE who also bowed before HIM.
Mark 5:6-9 (KJV)
[SUP]
6 [/SUP] But when he saw Jesus afar off, he ran and
worshipped him,
[SUP]
7 [/SUP] And cried with a loud voice, and said, What have I to do with thee, Jesus,
thou Son of the most high God? I adjure thee by God, that thou torment me not.
[SUP]
8 [/SUP] For he said unto him,
Come out of the man, thou unclean spirit.
[SUP]
9 [/SUP] And he asked him,
What is thy name? And he answered, saying, My name
is Legion: for we are many.
Mark 5:6 (NASB)
[SUP]
6 [/SUP] Seeing Jesus from a distance, he ran up and
bowed down before Him;
Mark 5:6 (HCSB)
[SUP]
6 [/SUP] When he saw Jesus from a distance, he ran and
knelt down before Him.
Every KNEE SHALL BOW, validates HE IS GOD in the Flesh.
