Because that is what you are to repent from.

Luke 13:1-5[h=3]Repent or Perish[/h]13 Now there were some present at that time who told Jesus about the Galileans whose blood Pilate had mixed with their sacrifices. [SUP]2 [/SUP]Jesus answered, “Do you think that these Galileans were worse sinners than all the other Galileans because they suffered this way? [SUP]3 [/SUP]I tell you, no! But unless you repent, you too will all perish. [SUP]4 [/SUP]Or those eighteen who died when the tower in Siloam fell on them—do you think they were more guilty than all the others living in Jerusalem? [SUP]5 [/SUP]I tell you, no! But unless you repent, you too will all perish.”
no repent means to change ones mind about a certain subject. Your adding the word sin into the equation, where it is not found in scripture.

How can a man dead to God turn away from sin? He has no power to do so, about all he can do is replace one habit with another. thats not turning away.

Jesus said your faith has healed you. NOW go and sin no more (change your lifestyle)

he did not make them change first, then heal them.

come on, you should know this!

You are not thinking my friend.

Unless you think one can be sinless. There will not be a time in our life were we could possibly have unrepented sin in our life.

so in your gospel. No one could be saved, Because when they died, they would still retain sin in their life.

We must be born again, or we have no power to stop sin. period.

No one is sinless, but the scriptures say that when you do sin again we now have an advocate in our Lord Jesus Christ and when you ask for forgiveness of that sin, He is just and will forgive you.

Now why does it say when you sin again, if you ask forgiveness He will forgive it ? If your sins are already covered then you would not need to ask forgiveness again when you sin again, but the bible says you do.

Scripture says that our father is like our earthly fathers, He forgives us before we even come to him (that is true love) He does not kick you out of his family every time you sin, or demnad you get on your knees and beg forgiveness. That would not be a loving father.

As our earthy father, he is grieved, and hurt when we deny take up self and sin, But to say he rips up the paper of forgiveness,, well that is just not in scripture. And to be honest, places you under law. not grace.

Now why does it say when you sin again, if you ask forgiveness He will forgive it ? If your sins are already covered then you would not need to ask forgiveness again when you sin again, but the bible says you do.
He wants you to acknowledge your sin openly. Then we are confronted wiht our sin. If we can just walk away, we will have no need to stop and learn why God wants us to do this, and not that.

It is for our benefit, not his, he does not need us to beg, or plead or have an emotional breakdown, he wants us to admit we have sinned (which is what the word confess means literally)

What works are to be done? For example, lets use a homosexual. What works are he to do in order to be saved? It was wrong to be gay before Christ, what has changed for the homosexual since then?
Believe, Jn 8:24
Repent (of homosexuality) Lk 13:3,4
Confess, Mt 10:32,33
Baptized for remission of sins, Acts 2:38

if you want them to change to be saved, It will never happen.

They need to be saved to be given the power to change.
Men will not be saved in their unremitted sins then after being saved repent later. If men can be saved in their sins then no need for Christ to shed His blood. Besides, repentance is a work so even though you try and get the homosexual saved BEFORE he does the work of repenting of his homosexuality , you still have him doing the work of repenting afterwards.

You are rewriting many scriptures that put repentance for salvation and verses that sinners are lost. Evidence of how one must change, edit, rewrite the bible to try and get one saved without works.

Um Christ died when we were his enemy,

Sorry bud, your putting the work of men way to high on a pedistool. Your work is nothing but filthy rags to God. and will not help you one iota.

You should know by now that workers for salvation not only add works to Jesus, but they also add words to what God states as well and or twist it to their own demise!
Jesus said for men to do he works of believing, repenting, confessing and be baptized so no one can add anything to the works Christ already gave men to do.

You are rewriting verses that put repentance BEFORE salvation, you are ignoring verses that say the impenitent are lost. You continue to pull Isa 64:6 out of context and ignore Isa 64:5 that says God entreats/helps those that work righteousness.

Does your conscience bother you, any red flags go up that you have to make so many changes, rewrites, edits, deletions to the bible to get it to fit your man made ideas?

refuted a hundred times over, Your acceptance of the arguments which show it not to be true is not needed..
You never refuted the first one. So Naaman earned his healing since he did the work of dipping in the river 7 times, therefore grace had nothing to do with his healing?

No, I am interpreting repentance as it was intended. and not trying to make it some legalistic feel sorry for your sin stuff, which is not found in scripture.

You can not change of your not born again, this is biblical fact. if you think you can, You do not understand the dead spirit all people have before they come to christ.

As God said, the things of God are foolishness to those who are not his.

If your not saved, not born again, and not adopted as his hildren due to forgiveness of sin, The things of God are foolish to you. Those are gods words, not mine

YOU empty your life by rejecting his grace. Many times over.

nope. he was healed by his faith. give it up dude, if that was the case, no one would be healed until they did work forst. yet most of the time, Jesus healed, then said go and sin no more.

Your argument is based on a false premise. since it did not happen every time.

I see your whole life ahead of you. Finding your bible is the first step

what this has to do with a person who is not born again being unable to hange his sin patterns is beyond me
