Funny how you guys are talking about appearances not mattering and that nobody's ugly, and yet... there's a thread made of preferences and what one would rather have when comparing two features about someone as to who they'd date and who they wouldn't.
So much for appearance not mattering.
But yes, there is a distinction between attractive and unattractive and we all fall victim as to what we want to see and how we want to be seen. We judge even if it's subconsciously and tend to find certain things ugly (-ahem- I mean 'unattractive') about others and may even avoid it.
Guess I should refrain while looking like a jerk. I will say that I think for those who are unattractive by most standards, I can have a say because I've been on the other side.
