Eph 2:8--------Faith >>>>>>>>>>>>>>saves
Lk 13:3-------repent>>>>>>>>>>>>>>saves/not persih
Rom 10:10----confession>>>>>>>>>>>saves
1 Pet 3:21----baptism>>>>>>>>>>>>>saves

How many ways can one be saved? One

Logically then faith MUST MUST MUST include repentance confession and baptism else you are creating a multitude of contradicting ways for man to be saved.
Through faith . . . . That WHOSOEVER believeth in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son that WHOSOEVER believes in him should not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:15,16

For by grace are you saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: IT IS THE GIFT OF GOD. Not of works, lest any man should boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. We are GOD'S workmanship [masterpiece] - that which was created in us through Christ Jesus enables us to do good works . . . faith = salvation salvation = obedience unto good works

But as many as received him (Jesus), to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name. Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

17 At the king's command they quarried out great, costly stones in order to lay the foundation of the house with dressed stones.11 Kings 5 temple (stone)dose this asked or tell , what these dressed stones were.

historys time line, reveled it self, in different era. and dates, time in history. to the people of the old testament. would you, know the world was round, help you understnd, the world is round, but how round is it, if you never saw it shape, or form with the eyes.
is god s revelation important to the believe, would it give purpose to the believer, in any era or history, of the bible believer in god, and jesus. but what era of time did god revel his son.

if you have not, had a personal revelation from god, how can you reach the eternal life, that you cant see.

14 And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and on them were the twelve names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.Revelation 21

The foundations of the wall of the city were adorned with every kind of jewel. The first was jasper, the second sapphire, the third agate, the fourth emerald,20 the fifth onyx, the sixth carnelian, the seventh chrysolite, the eighth beryl, the ninth topaz, the tenth chrysoprase, the eleventh jacinth, the twelfth amethyst.21 And the twelve gates were twelve pearls, each of the gates made of a single pearl, and the street of the city was pure gold, transparent as glass.
Revelation 21

And I saw no temple in the city, for its temple is the Lord God the Almighty and the Lamb.Revelation 21

1 Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and the sea was no more. Revelation 21
is the world conquered by knowing the design or can you go visiting the places you cant see.

what if you cannot come to get the car?
-- i will bring it to you --
(we did not ascend to heaven to seek Him, but He sent the Son to seek us)

what if you cannot drive?
-- i will teach you how to drive --
(the Lord has put His spirit in us, which will lead us into all truth)

what about taxes? insurance?
-- i have also paid these --
(by one sacrifice he has perfected all who are being made holy)

who will pay for petrol?
-- i will provide you with fuel --
(His strength is perfected in our weakness - it is by His power, not ours that we are motivated and able)
but i don't have any place to park it?
-- i will build a garage for you --
(He is preparing a place for us in His Father's house, right now!)

are there any complaints i'm missing??

I have never argued one must earn his salvation. But the bible clearly teaches God has put the conditions of obedient works upon His free gift of salvation and obeying in no way earns the free gift. As long as people will not understand this simple point they will never understand biblical salvation.
And yet you have not explained your blatant contradiction in your phrase "the Bible clearly teaches God has put the conditions of obedient works upon His free gift of salvation and obeying in no way earns the free gift." Actually you double contradict yourself.
Ok you know what SeaBass I have been asking you for quite some time to explain your contradiction in this post. You are avoiding it on purpose because you cannot talk your way out of it. And if you can talk your way out of it....boy do I wanna hear it.

Where is it written that if I have a free gift to give I cannot put conditions upon receiving that free gift?
In the same place it is written, "God is truthful."

I won't be perverting the Scriptures to meet a phraseology required by you.
God being truthful does not mean He cannot put the conditions on His free gifts. God did so with Naaman. Was God being "untruthful" for putting a condition upon Naaman's free gift of healing?
You could also use some instruction in analogies.

Nowhere do we find stated in Scripture the exact words "God is truthful," just as

nowhere do we find stated in Scripture the exact words "if I have a free gift to give
I cannot put conditions upon receiving that free gift,"

and finding neither of these exact words does not mean either that
God is not truthful, nor that
free gifts can have conditions.

And then there's that minor detail of language and the definition of the word "free,"
whose definition you perversely seek to rewrite.

Huh?

When the bible says "it is impossible for God to lie", that statement is a lie itself for God can lie?
No, it has to state "God is truthful only," or it does not mean that, just as

it has to state, "if I have a free gift to give I cannot put conditions on the gree gift"

or it does not mean that a free gift is without conditions.

I have a free car for you. I am giving it to you out of my good grace you did nothing to earn.

Want that free car? Then do the work of coming here and getting it. Does your work in coming here and getting the car mean you are earning it? If so how?
Eternal salvation in Christ is not going somewhere to receive a free car.....this analogy is fruitless at best......wow!

This statement is blasphemous and so contrary to the truth....it proves you are lost as the word of God clearly teaches that it is IMPOSSIBLE FOR GOD TO LIE and YOU just lied about God....man for someone who believes in works and that you can loose your salvation.....Lets see...twice in two days you have committed sins worthy of death and according to you have lost your salvation as your words and works prove your lost state.....I suggest you trust Jesus in a biblical manner before you wake up in hell dude.....WOW...DUDE...I don't think you understand the seriousness of this statement!

Yes, to say GOD can lie is denying the perfection of the Lord JESUS CHRIST who is GOD. JESUS did not does not lie. We humans lie it is our habitual instinct to lie and any man that says he doesn't lie is a liar. Period.

EARTH RESIDENTS ADD 9.725% SALES TAX

ACT NOW AND RECEIVE A SECURE HOPE JUST PAY SEPARATE PROCESSING $19.95
Well, PostH,

R U saying that Heaven is sold on a time-share basis?

It would appear that some people think that the Bible was written by some Air Conditioning Advertisers:

Free Insulation. Free installation. It's winter and we have to keep our boys busy, so we are giving things away. We even give $2000 discount free. So just pony up $100,000 and get all these freebies.

When I hear an advertisement that says free, or worse, "absolutely free gift," I think LIE. The word free in an advertisement means lie. But our Lord is no liar.
He says, Believe on the Lord Jesus, and you shall be saved. He says, "Whosoever believes."

I realize the offer of eternal life, delightful fellowship with the Lord Jesus, streets of gold, & freely given all things, may seem too good to be true; but true it is. All it costs is your pride. You must needs come to him as a sinner needing a Savior, as a God-be-merciful-to-me-a-sinner. He doesn't need 2000 pounds of your life-garbage. He is not impressed by a Pharisee who pleads his good works.

But He does take note if you believe His promises:

Thou shalt call His name Jesus, for
He shall save His people from their sins.

9 who saved us, and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before times eternal,

11 For the grace of God hath appeared, bringing salvation to all men,

7 that, being justified by his grace, we might be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

9 But we behold him who hath been made a little lower than the angels, even Jesus, because of the suffering of death crowned with glory and honor, that by the grace of God he should taste of death for every man.

16 Let us therefore draw near with boldness unto the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace to help us in time of need.

You apparently were responding to the ol' Seabass list of 4 things:

Logically then faith MUST MUST MUST include repentance confession and baptism else you are creating a multitude of contradicting ways for man to be saved.

Faith/belief/trust is the one way reiterated over & over.

Repent is a change of mind, thus it is not different because the change of mind is from non-belief to belief (could be from belief in water as an idol to the real Savior).
Confess = agree: We have to agree with God as to who the object of faith it; this is a matter of having Christ adequately defined when we trust Him. Jesus the Mexican car mechanic saves no one.

Thus far, it is still only faith that is man's responsibility in salvation.
As to immersion in water, that is a human work, excluded from salvation; it is a work that one expects to follow salvation, not to cause it. 1 Peter 3 indicates that water immersion is a picture or figure, and it is, as it pictures the death, entombment, & resurrection of Christ, which realities do save us.

There is no list of hoops to jump through. The Lord has done the work; now we must rest in Him. Let Him be the Savior, ourselves the saved, the savee.

Thou shalt call His name Jesus, for
He shall save His people from their sins.

Come ye sinners
Tired & weary,
Weak & wounded,
Sick & sore.
If you tarry till you're better,
You will never come at all.
Not the righteous,
Not the righteous,
Sinners Jesus came to call.

I know for sure...You know he worded it as a statement and then added a ? so which is it...if a question then He doesn't know God's word and if a statement...He doesn't know God's word....so either way you go it sets forth ignorance to some level unless I am totally missing something from the back and forth that is going on....

Lol. It's bad enough he blasphemed God but then take into account I have been asking him all day to answer a question and he totally ignored it. Mainly because he was in a corner and there was no escape so poor Elin took the brunt of his attacks. Good thing she is a strong woman and stood her ground.

If he ever comes back he needs to explain himself and answer my question. lets see how does that phrase go? Oh yeah "put up or shut up"

SeaBass if I misunderstood you here I apologize I am sorry.

But in the same sense you do still owe an explanation for your contradictory statement. (The only reason I add this is because I have been asking you that question all day)

How do you deal with Romans 3:10-11-18 and primarily verse 11...There is none that understandeth, there is NONE that seeketh after God....?

VS. 20 Therefore by the deeds of the LAW (works) there shall be no flesh justified in HIS sight.....
VS. 21-22 But now the righteousness of God without the LAW is manifested, being witnessed by the LAW and the Prophets; EVEN the righteousness of GOD which is by FAITH OF JESUS CHRIST UNTO all and UPON ALL them that BELIEVE

The reason our works cannot save us is two fold...

1. Because of man's natural fallen sate as found in verses 10-18 and
2. It is based upon the FAITH OF JESUS UPON ALL that BELIEVE!
To understand Ro.3 we need to go back to Ro.2:

"Therefore if the uncircumcision keep the righteousness of the law, shall not his uncircumcision be counted for circumcision?"

What is circumcision according to God?
