This is actually true but you are wrong to think it is water baptism. It is the only baptism that saves meaning it is the Holy Spirit baptism not water.

Mutually exclusive concepts.

A straw man argument. Even the worst sinner will do a good deed on occasion. What about the man who does good deeds but denies the efficacy of the blood of Christ and the grace of God? Can one be saved if they have their own gospel?

For the cause of Christ
Roger

Mt 28:19,20; Mk 16:15,16; Jn 3:5; Acts 2;38; ROo 6:3-5; Gal 3:27 etc are all water baptism. The bible does not promise anyone today baptism with the Holy Spirit. For that idea is made up by those that are trying to find a way to get around the necessity of water baptism.

1) No one who is unforgiven can be saved
2) Water baptism is where God remits/forgives sins
3) Therefore no water baptism = no forgiveness of sins.

That probably describes the thief on the cross,
and he was saved just hanging there unable to perform anything.

The bible does not tell us what kind of life the thief lived before he was on the cross. He could have been a disciple of Christ but later flee into a life of crime for all we know.

But I still see you are striving to find a way to get men saved while still in their unforgiven sins.

How can physical water purify the inside,

Doesn't peter say its the pledge of a clear conscious towards GOD?

Sometimes people don't let the bible get in the way of what they believe.

Don't need to, for salvation is what forgives their sin.

The water does nothing, it is the act of obedience/doing righteousness/doing what God said that God cuts away the body of sin.

Acts 10:35 the ones that "worketh righteousness" are the ones accepted with God.

There are none so blind as those who will not see.

Can you 'see' that Naaman's obedient work in dipping in no way earned him God's grace?

Or do you refuse to 'see' this?

You're confusing grace of sanctification through obedience
with grace of salvation through faith only (Eph 2:8-9; Ro 3:28; 4:16, 11:5)

1 Cor 6 - know ye not the unrighteous WILL NOT inherit the kingdom of heaven?
Agreed. . .only those in Christ through faith by grace only (Eph 2:8-9; Ro 3:28, 4:16, 11:25)
inherit the kingdom of heaven.

And such WERE some of you: but you are washed, but you are sanctified, but you are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God.

Yes, they could NOT be saved as they WERE and they WERE unrighteous therefore could not be saved that way.

Elin says the unrighteous are saved as they ARE.

They were washed (water baptized) taking them from" WERE unrighteous" to now righteous.

Doing nothing cannot take then from unrighteous to righteous

You just made receiving grace conditional upon being 'in Christ'

So how do the faithless unrighteous ever get into Christ where grace is found? By doing nothing?

Elin says God justifies the wicked (Ro 4:5)
