If your child destroyed half the world and was seeking to kill you, would he really still be your loving son?
Oh...so now he's seeking to kill me? I think something is wrong in your brain.

2 John 1:3-5, Grace be with you, mercy, and peace, from God the Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, in truth and love. I rejoiced greatly that I found of thy children walking in truth, as we have received a commandment from the Father. And now i beseech thee, lady, not as though I wrote a new commandment unto thee, but that which we had from the beginning, that we love one another.

How many people here can say they live sinless, without fault or defect, flawless perfect lives 100% of the time? If we fall short of sinless perfection, does that mean Christ is not our Lord and we don't do what He says at all?
We all fall short of the grace of God, but that is why the Holy Spirit was sent to us that believe.
To guide and give us strength to overcome and victory over sin, not to continue walking in lewdness. Stumbling is a part of a believers life that can happen, but when one follows the command to repent/confess of that future sin and continue to walk in the faith then the blood of the Lord continues to cover our sins forgiving us.

We know that only Noah and his family were spared because he found grace in the eyes of the Lord. The rest of the world lived wickedly (For their thoughts were evil continually). So if you lived back then and never met Noah and his family, you could come to the same wrong conclusion as you are coming to today. For the Scriptures should not be changed so as to what we see in the world. For we walk by faith and not by sight. So 1 Peter 4:1, Galatians 5:24, Romans 6:14, and Ephesians 4:17-27 still stands as being 100% true with a plain straightforward reading.

Forgive me if I am wrong but by your response are you trying to say Noah and his family were sinless ???

If you are trying to say that then that is completely not true for the bible says all have sinned and fallen short, not all but a few of have sinned. Lord Jesus is the only one who has not sinned !!!

After being born again though we should no longer think we are still walking around in a fallen nature, because we are walking in the Spirit as a new creation. It is our old sinful nature that is the fallen nature, but we are to bury that with and in Christ through baptism and rise as new creation in the Spirit in His resurrection........

While I have not overcome all sin yet in my life
Thank you for making my point.

However, I do not abide in unrepentant sin as a way of life and I seek to obey Him and do what is good and pleasing in His sight.
1 John 3:9 - No one who is born of God practices sin.. The idea of practice is to perform repeatedly or habitually and thus describes repetition or continuous action. This describes the practice as habitual, as one's lifestyle or bent of life. Those who practice sin demonstrate that they have not been born of God. To have weak moments and stumble and sin intermittently (which is what those who are not sinless, without fault or defect, flawless 100% of the time do) is different than making these behaviors a willful, habitual lifestyle.

While I have not overcome all sin yet in my life, I believe one day soon with Christ that I will overcome. It could be today or tomorrow. However, I do not abide in unrepentant sin as a way of life and I seek to obey Him and do what is good and pleasing in His sight. There are days I do not sin. This is not by my power, but it the power of Christ. In other words, it would be like an alcoholic who is striving to stop drinking so as to be sober. If he stumbles on his road to recovery, it was for his learning so as not to sin again. But the alcoholic who says they will never be able to stop drinking and yet he claims he will be free of his addiction one day is only deceiving himself.

But what if something happens and your life gets taken today never reaching that goal, do you think you will not go to heaven ???

Sin is a break in fellowship with God. That is the seriousness of sin. In order for your doctrine to work, it has to hold up to the truth of the real world. Sons who sin against their fathers are not welcome in their home if all they do is cheat, steal, and destroy. That is not a son.

John 8:34-36
Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin. And the servant abideth not in the house for ever: but the Son abideth ever. If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.

This thinking is close to insane. What in the world do you think the parable of The Prodigal Son was all about?

No. What I am saying is that Noah did not live like the rest of the world. We are called to be holy and set apart from the world.

The same tbing James 5:19-20 says. It's about backsliding into sin and dying spiritually by doing so and then coming back to the Lord to the saving of their own soul. In the parable: when the son came back, he said his was once dead and he is now alive again two times. This is speaking in spiritual terms.

No. Because one is saved by Christ by confessing and forsaking sin. But if one makes excuses that they will forever sin, it is making a future declaration of unrighteousness. Sin has dominion over them because they allow it to have dominion by their own words.

There are 4 major problems with the type of vote people had cast in the fact that they said they will be saved if they die in unrepentant sin.

#1. It ignores 1 John 1:9 that says if we confess our sins he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins.
(Please keep in mind that 1 John 1:8-9 is in context to 1 John 2:4).

#2. God is the giver and taker of life; So if a person does not have a chance to repent, that is because God judged them as being wicked because they really were not sorry for the type of sins they committed before they died (Because they did not confess of it). For Ananais and Sapphira were not saved because great fear fell upon the church and all who heard about their deaths. Believers do not experience fear when a believer dies and goes to be with the Lord.

#3. God is not a respecter of persons. If God saved His people because they died in sin without repenting of it, then he would also have to save all unbelievers, too. For to believe on Jesus Christ is a Commandment and sin is merely transgression of the law (or commandment).

#4. It allows someone to think that they can sin and still be saved some other time (Which is a license to sin).

The problem, the ACTUAL problem, is that you are TWISTING the responses given by BELIEVERS

As I posted above as so:

This is absolutely false. People explained that they believe they can die without having expressed regret or asked for forgiveness for a sin should death come upon them before they had the chance to do so.
You do not consider ALL the scriptures. It seems you cannot be wrong in your own mind...which would make you a genius of proportions heretofore unknown on this planet

For ALL have sinned and come short of the glory of God includes YOU.

YOUR thoughts are sinful before God...whether or not you acknowledge that has nothing to do with the ACTUAL FACTS

#1. It ignores 1 John 1:9 that says if we confess our sins he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins.
(Please keep in mind that 1 John 1:8-9 is in context to 1 John 2:4).
Actually, rather than ignoring this scripture, we STAND on it and thank God that He makes provision for forgiveness and repentance

GOD IS NOT A MAN THAT HE SHOULD LIE If God says we are engraved on the palm of HIS HAND than that is the way it is.

READ Pslam 49 as God addresses Israel and discover for yourself God's great and unfailing love Jason...that He has for you and every single one of us. Not one drop of Jesus precious blood has ever been nor will it ever be wasted.

Jason...I believe God is speaking directly to you through His Word...you might wonder why I do not have you on ignore any longer...it is because God said I should not do that. I actually feel compassion towards you and not hard heartedness. Listen, God loves you and sees you where you are. You should not condemn...you don't have to do that. God does not condemn you and neither do I.

But I cannot accept what you say because the love of God is not in it. One of my favorite names for God is ANCIENT OF DAYS...God IS...no beginning and no end....He is eternal and so is His great love. It does not pass away and He reaches out to us every day....He knows how frail and fragile we are and we do not have to prove anything to Him!

#3. God is not a respecter of persons. If God saved His people because they died in sin without repenting of it, then he would also have to save all unbelievers, too. For to believe on Jesus Christ is a Commandment and sin is merely transgression of the law (or commandment).
That is true. However, the Bible does not say God is judgement

The Bible says GOD IS LOVE...and He loves us all and has made provision for the forgiveness of our sins and He did that ONE time and ONE time only

#4. It allows someone to think that they can sin and still be saved some other time (Which is a license to sin).
No sir. No one thinks that here Jason. If you finally admit that, I think it might help you in your thinking.

Listen...I have written things to you that you probably think are hard or judgemental. You see, that is what you bring out in people...judgement!

I mean what I write...I meant what I wrote. But God's love overrides our hearts and that is what He would like you to see

Don't get me wrong...I am not saying God told me to tell you

It is more like He brought you to my mind and as I considered the way you write, it as though He breathed into my heart some understanding for you and some of His love for you...so I can only pass it on.

I pray He touches you by His Spirit and that you feel something you have never felt before..turn and look into the eyes of Jesus...he forgives all those who crucified Him...you and I crucified Him...

For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.
John 3:16

Hey you know, if God went out of His way to nudge me about you....and I know when it is God because only He can change my heart...then surely He is speaking by His Spirit and by His Word

That is completely false in your thinking, because if you sin today and repent of it then two hours later die you have not reached sinless perfection. Because you still sinned that day, but yet you will be forgiven and go to heaven.

Sin does not have dominion on a person who has backslide here or there and then repented, for sins having dominion on a person means they always will control them. A person who shows they are trying to turn away from that sin/s and have repented shows sin does not have dominion on them.

Read it again. He had spoken NOT ONE SINGLE WORD when the Father came running to welcome him back.

Thank you for making my point.
And your point does not refute what the Word says in 1 Peter 4:1, Galatians 5:24, and Romans 6:14.

Again, how many sins did it take for Adam to fall? Why do you believe you are better?

Because the son came back. And also, you are ignoring important details. For it does not change what the father said later. For the father said he was dead and now he is alive again two times.

And how do you explain that the Father was up on the walls, searching the distance for him every day? He was just waiting for that day he believed would come. That son was never "dead" to the Father...

No. At the end of Romans 6, Paul is saying a person has one of two choices in this life. They can choose to be a slave to sin, or they can choose to a slave to righteousness.

He was dead because the father says so...two times.
