Well, since you're 'Raisin' the subject, har-har, I soak my raisins in dark imported rum when I make sticky buns. (shh, it's a secret, don't tell anybody) I've always been a fan of rum-raisin ice cream. Never had homemade, would love to try yours.
And it's so cool you make porcupine balls. It's been a tradition in my family for generations. Never knew any body else that made them. I thought it was a german or pennsylvania dutch thing, but what do I know. Soooo, are you now gearing up to do the thanksgiving turkey? I'll give you a tip on stuffing if you share your ice cream.
