I don't know, I don't even think I look for something. I was looking for a Mr Perfect who would understand me and love me anyway and not go away if I got mad at Him, but now that I found Him: this is it.

What I look for in a Godly man.
1. Does he have a beard?
2. Is he wearing flannel?

Agreed... and if his heart is not reddish, kinda squishy, and moving rhythmically, he's probably not the guy for you.

Also make sure it isn't three sizes too small! :)

On a more serious note, while I need someone with the spontaneity and animation to engage in friendly mischief and surprises, I need someone who is very keyed into what is and is not appropriate. I can not abide the presence of a man (with the necessary exception of my father) who makes dead baby jokes in front of my mother, for example, who does not appreciate dead baby humor. Risqué humor will not be tolerated.
It sounds cliché, but I do want a careful man who actually cares about what I think and listens to me and is respectful and considerate to people without being stuffy or stiff. Thick-skinned without being thick-skulled.

Sometimes it's very difficult to pin down your direction in life. Having a strong faith in God doesn't automatically mean one knows what they want to do. Hmm...

I know but it helps to at least have a plan,since its too difficult to figure out. If plan A doesnt work you got the whole alphabet. Doesnt hurt to have a back up plan. You cant always just go with the flow. Besides how can you lead your wife if you dont have focus on what you want and whats important for you in your life.

I think Tintin was asking if merely having focus was enough, because that may or may not take shape in reality. Factors like unemployment, recession, sickness, etc will determine how much of that dream/passion/focus would become a reality. Would your opinion of him change then?
