Being in this field, I can tell you it's a load of crap that makes money for pharmaceutical companies... snipped a bit... Best advice I give is to avoid medications as much as possible as they only create other problems which means more pills and a vicious cycle...Stick with natural products/foods as much as possible...
Amen and again I say unto you, amen! :)

Good answer, Jerry. So why do some people think or believe that medication is nothing but sorcery or witchcraft? And if GOD is capable of healing our illness and suffering Himself, then why does he use doctors to do, what he's fully capable of doing on his own without benefit of medical intervention?
Because pharmakeuó (which is where we get pharmacy and pharmaceuticals from) means to administer drugs, spells, and the combination of the two.

This is a killer thread btw. I'll be watching.

LOL don't get so hairy. I was pointing out a problem with your position, not with you personally,
Hairy? Do you have something against statistics? You seem to have a problem because I post stats and present the general consensus of some who are not present. Plus you did not answer the question.

So does that mean we should taking meds altogether? Because it's a mix of drugs and spells? Don't just watch the thread, Bushi.. Participate in it. :) That's why I made it, so people can participate in it. :)

My last doctor's appointment was not very fruitful. Doctors are only practicing medicine. Let me know when they get serious about health. LOL. Let them teach prevention instead of being so quick to jump on the drugs' bandwagon. Our stupid government was going to take vitamin C off store shelves and make us go to a doctor if we wanted to take it, to get a prescription for it. Of course the pharma companies were behind it. As if our system is not already overloaded and taxed to the max as it is. You know what the justification for it was? We are diagnosing ourselves, and we are not qualified. Where does it end? I am thirsty. Doc? May I please have a prescription for some water?

I have a problem with anyone who accuses doctors unfairly. We would not do well without them (the good ones)
Then go have your problem with someone else. :p

We have a commercial on the radio that airs concerning only only abortion clinic left in MS. And she always says that they support life "from conception to NATURAL death"

Is Medication A Form Of Sorcery?...
"Certainly NOT!

In Rev 9v21, the A.V., T.R., and Mcde, read, “of their sorceries,” “ek ton pharmakeion auton.” “Pharmakeion,” is the genitive plural of the noun “pharmakeia.” Codex A reads “pharmakion.” The manuscripts Mab, p47, Aleph, C,Hodges and Farstad, and the Critical Texts; read, “ek ton pharmakon auton,” “of their drugs,” and refers to the practice of drugs (really "narcotics", mind altering substances, like heroin and cocaine) being used in sorcery, magic and enchantment. The adjective “pharmakos,” is used as a noun to describe a person who dealt in drugs, a sorcerer, enchanter, and magician, who used drugs and potions, to makes pells, charms and enchantments, it speaks of a person “devoted to magical arts.”

So, the occultist used/uses narcotics to induce a more conducive state of mind to practice the occult, which is COMPLETELY different to drugs/medicines being prescribed by a doctor for a therapeutic purposes!"

What it tells us is that life is valued, protected, and attempted to be preserved. Well, the life of those that are already out of the womb. The chances of being born are apparently dwindling. It also tells us that there is big bucks in providing care in this area, of preserving and prolonging life. It does not matter that thousands pay the ultimate price, nor do many people care about the known side effects. Just gimme gimme gimme that miracle drug so I can pop some magic pills. Implying that drugs are responsible for people living longer is misleading, too. The standard of living and hygiene have improved, and those things greatly contribute to the quality of life.

also, let's use a common sense factor, for example : my grandmother is 82 years old. her doc wants her to have a bone density test to find how high the likelihood of her breaking a bone if she was to have a fall would be. well, let's look at her age and use our brains. no test needed.

just another example of fleecing the system. common sense is dying so hard.

Most (not all) doctors are robots working in the greater medical machine....they get bribed by drug companies to prescribe certain drugs over generics that are equivalent....how do they do this...they enlist drug representative to peddle the drug to the doctor...they only hire reps who are around 20-30 yo young mostly female (some male) and offer carnival cruises, tickets to ball games, other incentives to prescribe their brand over generic....don't believe me google it...and you will find it is true....your doctor/any medical professional is not a know it all sage (as much as their ego tells them and believe me most docs are uppity) patients who research and take care of themselves will be better equipped with knowledge to prevent this type of prescriber abuse...not to mention your insurance premium will go down bc you ask for the generic instead of the doctor prescribing a brand b/c he was bribed..)

So does that mean if a person gets cancer, that they're just supposed to linger on until death comes for them? Or if a person has high blood pressure, that they're to stop taking their meds so their bp can go sky-high and they die of a massive stroke or heart attack?

Believe me, I do not need to google it. I know. Many of them are on some power trip. How dare you question them? How dare you have an opinion that does not agree with theirs? Medicine is like religion. LOL. Nobody agrees about much. The first doctor that spoke of unseen organisms that were largely responsible for the spread of disease was all but ruined professionally because he wanted medical staff to wash their hands between patients.

If bp is raised because of poor diet, that should be addressed first. Same with cholesterol. There are terrible side effects from the staten drugs, but lots of people take them anyways when there are other things they could be doing that would help bring them back into an acceptable range. Life style choices are not going to be the answer for every case, though, such as with cancer. Get the treatment you need, for sure. Then change your diet and lifestyle to eliminate carcinogens and improve your immune system.

I honestly don't know. That IS how they used to die... and ADMITTEDLY Jesus and the Apostles healed... thus prolonging life...

I agree statins damage your liver and are what we call "maintenance drugs" just like with blood pressure...
reduce amount of fat you eat (fried foods, heavy red meat etc) for bp ( reduce the amount of salt you consume) for cholesterol a good thing I do is eat oatmeal at nighttime (last meal before bed/dinner) oatmeal is like a sponge and absorbs the bad cholesterol (Ldl, triglycerides etc) which is predominantly made in the night....it will clear your arteries of plaque and make you more energetic as fat makes you feel sluggish....hope this helps
