A church building has nothing to do with this. The verses are talking about the meeting of the the body of Christ in an official way that we call church. A woman is not teacher. The chain of command goes as follows - God, Christ, the man, the woman and then the children.
If I as a man usurp Christ then God is not going to bless it, the same goes for the woman. If the woman tries to usurp the man then God is not going to bless it... it is not in God's divine order.
Hey thank you, that's what I said. The church is the people, not the building.
You said previously that women could not speak in the church but could speak
in their homes. But the body of Christ in the early church did meet in homes!
So I assume you mean (correct me if I have this wrong) that a woman is also
not allowed to speak in her own home if the body of Christ happens to be meeting
at her house.
The other question I referred to, is how many people would have to meet up
before that meeting was regarded as "the body of Christ doing church".
As I mentioned before, I have been to church hall meetings with as few as
7 people, but house church meetings with as many as 20.
Jesus himself said where 2 or 3 are gathered I am there. (Me paraphrasing)
Another person asked what happens if several friends meet up and a church
meeting breaks out. Are women then suppose to shut up.
I honestly have genuine reasons for asking your opinion and I am not
trying to tie you up in knots. I go to a church which including teens and
kids, easily exceeds 1000 people. It involves people from over 40 different
nationalities.
There are also over 300 house groups, these house groups include
church elders, leaders and pastors (we have 5 pastors).
If what you believe in was applied to my church, then well over half the
congregation (women and children) could never lead, teach, speak,
prophesy or take an active part in the house groups etc. Well over half the
church would never be allowed to use their gifts. The church would never grow,
yet it is growing substantially.

The other thing, maybe you just used the wrong word but you mentioned women usurping men.
To usurp means: take a position of power or importance illegally or by force.
Any person either man or woman who tries to force their position of preacher or leader on a
church, is in the wrong. No one said anything about women muscling in and
taking over. I think this is the problem, men seem to think women want to take over.
But what if the women under the authority and with the blessing of the church, preach
and take on positions of leadership. What if they lead bible studies, what if they are the
worship team leader, what if they are the head of their house group. What if they organise
the pray ministry, what if they are one of the leaders of the new life group, leading new
christians deeper into God. What if they help prepare people for baptism, what if they are
missionaries, etc.
How can a church grow and flourish if over half the members have their spiritual hands
tied behind their backs.
Incidentally we also have youth Sunday's when the youth group takes the entire service
and they do the preaching. There are some amazing Godly young people in the church.
But yet your chain of command would seem to put the youth at the bottom of the
spiritual food chain.
It also says in the bible let no one despise your youth.
1 Timothy 4:12 NKJV
[12] Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in
conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity.
