Woke up to the sound of a small dog barking and someone using a leaf blower. -_- Picked up some tasty chinese food for my mom and rented a movie for her that I hope she'll like (its called Brooklyn). Finished doing my parents' taxes last night but still have to get them ready for the mail... and do mine, but I can miss the deadline..
Going to costco to buy a frozen yogurt swirl and then going shopping to buy some solar lights and new garden hose nozzles. Then I am going to wash my car, my mom's car and my dad's car (if I have the energy). And then maybe take a trip to the hobby shop. (not necessarily in that order...)

Today, like most Saturdays, I went on a goodwill run.
This time, my find was slightly different. There was an employee moving a large bin down the aisle past me. I noticed a lego box inside the bin, and I asked him if those were items to be stocked, and he explained he was taking them to the trash. I asked if the Lego box was empty. he seems surprised by the suggestion, but decided to check. He started to say it was empty, but paused and then pulled out a plastic bag. There were a couple loose pieces in the bag that had been overlooked. He offered them to me and I accepted gratefully.
