Played Borderlands with my dad after a rough day at work. It's our father-son bonding time (that's how I qualify it)...
One perk about being an adult and living by yourself is that you can lick the bowl without your mom scolding you.

Worked at home for a few hours
Baked COOKIES
Prepared free taxes for strangers
These weren't pretty, but they were delicious....cornflake chocolate chip marshmallow cookies, shared with the other volunteers
And now I'm tired.
Going to netflix marathon. Maybe even wash my hair.

Woke up to the sound of a small dog barking and someone using a leaf blower. -_- Picked up some tasty chinese food for my mom and rented a movie for her that I hope she'll like (its called Brooklyn). Finished doing my parents' taxes last night but still have to get them ready for the mail... and do mine, but I can miss the deadline..
Going to costco to buy a frozen yogurt swirl and then going shopping to buy some solar lights and new garden hose nozzles. Then I am going to wash my car, my mom's car and my dad's car (if I have the energy). And then maybe take a trip to the hobby shop.
(not necessarily in that order...)

Didn't have time to go to the hobby shop. 
The line at costco was too long so no frozen yogurt, but I got a hot fudge sundae at mcdonalds instead. Bought the stuff I needed, installed the new hose nozzles. Now its dinner time.. nom nom nom

Today, like most Saturdays, I went on a goodwill run.
This time, my find was slightly different. There was an employee moving a large bin down the aisle past me. I noticed a lego box inside the bin, and I asked him if those were items to be stocked, and he explained he was taking them to the trash. I asked if the Lego box was empty. he seems surprised by the suggestion, but decided to check. He started to say it was empty, but paused and then pulled out a plastic bag. There were a couple loose pieces in the bag that had been overlooked. He offered them to me and I accepted gratefully.
