You have got us mixed up , it's you who doesn't believe the Bible.
I didn't say you didn't believe the bible, I asked which part you think is unbiblical in what I quoted?

You must be one of those false grace teachers who are the end time deceivers.
Every time the Bible proves you wrong, you say it's not for the Christians.
Just like you say 1 Jn 1: 9, isn't for the Christians.
The false grace teachers are truly inspired by the devil.
what a tragedy to hold condemnation so tightly when Jesus wants to set you free

that's why He died for us

On the contrary 1 John 1:9 was for us before we became a Christian and Jesus' blood washed us clean! We do not go in and out of righteousness because someone sins - righteousness is based completely on what Jesus did for us and He made us righteous.
This statement IS a fabricated lie. First of all, didn't you say John was trying to convert gnostics? BTW, there's no such thing as a true gnostic church, for gnostics aren't christians at all. NO EPISTLE is written to sinners.....always to the true church. But you had to say otherwise, so that this statement would "look like" their first confession.

1 John 1:9 (NASB)
[SUP]9 [/SUP]If we (the true church) confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

1. The true church confesses (plural) after conversion, intimating it will happen the rest of our lives, not just at conversion. This "confessing" also means "forsaking", for the two cannot be separated. John the Baptist told the scribes & pharisees they must bring forth fruits of repentance.
2. God forgives those that confess & forsake their sins.
3. If we don't confess & forsake our sins, we have unrighteousness dwelling in us.

In the theory that we lose righteousness when we sin - what happens if you get in a fight with your wife tonight and then fall asleep and then die...you have no righteousness in this theory and you would go to hell.
This is a false statement & a judgement call..... You ASSUME anyone who doesn't believe you is a legalist, believing works can save us. Who gave you that right? You call anyone who disagrees with you a heresy/heretic hunter & a legalist. Get it right..... I'm a heresy exposer, not a hunter. No need to hunt it when it surrounds you.
No. the scriptures are clear - Christ ahs become to us from God, righteousness and holiness. He has done it all - we are just walking out who we are in Christ as we get our minds renewed to the truth.
The scriptures are clear, but you aren't. If anything, you speak like the gnostics you blame..... curious, because gnostics believe in eternal security.

I realize this conflicts with our religious beliefs that we were taught but when we see the beauty of our Lord's finished work - we walk in freedom and sin doesn't have dominion over us.
Don't blame the Lord for the false doctrine you're spreading. Sin does have dominion over those that quit confessing & forsaking their sin AND quits living a life of obedience for the Lord.

[TD="colspan: 3, align: left"] When you have a plant with sickly leaves, it would be foolish to just treat the leaves without knowing the root cause of the problem. Similarly, when “leaves” of sickness, poverty and destructive habits start sprouting in your life, you need to know what the root cause is.

Experts will tell you that it is stress. They may go a little deeper and say that it is fear—fear of the future, of rejection, of loss, of death and so on. But is fear really the root? Or is there something deeper than fear?

The Bible shows us that the most fundamental cause of problems in our lives is condemnation. With condemnation comes fear. Fear then induces stress which brings about the symptoms of the curse.

This is what happened to Adam. Long before he faced poverty, sickness and eventually death, he had stress. Because of his sin, God told him, “In the sweat of your face you shall eat bread till you return to the ground.” (Genesis 3:19) Sweat speaks of stress.

But before there was stress, there was fear because Adam told God, “I heard Your voice in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; and I hid myself.” (Genesis 3:10)

But what made Adam fearful? Adam only feared when, seeing his nakedness, he realized that he had sinned against God. He felt so ashamed and condemned that he hid himself. God then asked him, “Who told you that you were naked?” (Genesis 3:11) There was no one else in the garden other than Adam and Eve, so we know that it was probably the devil who told Adam that he was naked.

My friend, condemnation is the root cause of the symptoms of the curse manifesting in your life. That is why you need to know that at the cross, God took all your sins, put them on Jesus and unleashed the full fury of His wrath against them until Jesus cried out, “It is finished!”

All your sins have been completely punished in the body of Christ who was condemned for you. The root cause of all your problems has been dealt with. This means that the devil cannot enforce the curse in your life apart from your receiving condemnation. So come to the place of no condemnation and no sick leaves will sprout in your life!

Let's dissect this Op. We see in the title that a single scripture is used to prove a point. IN any good seminary, we're taught that scripture interprets scripture. In other words, always use scripture to prove the way you're interpreting a verse is correct. This can be direct, using another verse that basically says the same thing, or indirect, a scripture that confirms the way a verse is to be used. An example:

1 Timothy 4:1-7 (KJV)
[SUP]1 [/SUP]Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; [SUP]2 [/SUP]Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron; [SUP]3 [/SUP]Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth. [SUP]4 [/SUP]For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving: [SUP]5 [/SUP]For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer. [SUP]6 [/SUP]If thou put the brethren in remembrance of these things, thou shalt be a good minister of Jesus Christ, nourished up in the words of faith and of good doctrine, whereunto thou hast attained. [SUP]7 [/SUP]But refuse profane and old wives' fables, and exercise thyself rather unto godliness.

Paul tells Timothy to put the congregation in remembrance of the things that Paul has already had taught them. IOW, REPEAT, REPEAT, REPEAT the teachings over & over to get the truth in their hearts. ALWAYS use the scriptures over & over in your sermons so the people will memorize them.

Scriptures that DIRECTLY verify the one above:
John 14:26 (KJV)
[SUP]26 [/SUP]But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
[HR][/HR]1 Corinthians 4:17 (KJV)
[SUP]17 [/SUP]For this cause have I sent unto you Timotheus, who is my beloved son, and faithful in the Lord, who shall bring you into remembrance of my ways which be in Christ, as I teach every where in every church.
[HR][/HR]2 Timothy 1:6 (KJV)
[SUP]6 [/SUP]Wherefore I put thee in remembrance that thou stir up the gift of God, which is in thee by the putting on of my hands.
[HR][/HR]2 Timothy 2:14 (KJV)
[SUP]14 [/SUP]Of these things put them in remembrance, charging them before the Lord that they strive not about words to no profit, but to the subverting of the hearers.
[HR][/HR]2 Peter 1:12 (KJV)
[SUP]12 [/SUP]Wherefore I will not be negligent to put you always in remembrance of these things, though ye know them, and be established in the present truth.
[HR][/HR]2 Peter 1:13 (KJV)
[SUP]13 [/SUP]Yea, I think it meet, as long as I am in this tabernacle, to stir you up by putting you in remembrance;
[HR][/HR]2 Peter 1:15 (KJV)
[SUP]15 [/SUP]Moreover I will endeavour that ye may be able after my decease to have these things always in remembrance.
[HR][/HR]2 Peter 3:1 (KJV)
[SUP]1 [/SUP]This second epistle, beloved, I now write unto you; in both which I stir up your pure minds by way of remembrance:

These scriptures leave us no doubt that this is the right way to teach/preach/write to the congregation.

These scriptures prove indirectly without a shadow of a doubt that the Op's writing is incorrect without even covering the subject, because this method isn't being used.
A lawyer will state law after law, & case after case to drive a point home to the jury. Why make up a story without validating scripture to confirm it?

Another thing that really irks me about this Op is the author always insists that those who disagree use NT scripture to validate their point, while this Op itself clearly doesn't. If a doctrine uses a NT verse to start it, then use the NT to validate it..... if it's the truth, it will be there.

Now, after learning this important truth about sharing the truth, reread the Op & judge righteous judgement whether or not it should be believed.

"NO condemnation" is for those who walk after the Spirit, NOT for those who walk after the flesh, Rom 8: 1.
The false grace teachers Only quote, "There is therefore now no condemnation",
But they miss out, "Who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit".

So you can see how deceiving they are.

The root solution (to the title of the OP) would be to always remember and extend the mercy we have received from our Savior, Jesus Christ. We cannot go amiss practicing this.

He was saying in the context of "if we confess our sins he is faithful and just to forgive our sins" like once and for all.. Aknowledge you are a sinner and receive the forgiveness of sin through Jesus Christ. It's ignorant to not read the bible in the context and understanding of when and why it was written.. We know that we were once sinners and that we confessed and received for forgiveness of sins through Jesus so there ya go... I did what 1 John 1:9 tells us to do... Therefore I don't need to do it again and again and again.. :)

Amen.....here's a novel idea - why don't we just believe the Lord when scripture says He has redeemed us with His blood and that we in fact do have forgiveness of sins.

As you can see we have been taught in our church traditions that 1 John 1:9 was like a bar of soap for believers and yet there is no scripture that talks about it at all. Paul who wrote 1/3 of the NT didn't say anything about this except that we have forgiveness of sins in a continuous state.

I believe well meaning people think they are defending the faith when they oppose this truth about having complete forgiveness of sins but in reality they are just defending their man-made tradition. This kind of a stronghold in our minds is a really tough one to root out but the Holy Spirit does reveal to us the awesome truth of what our Lord Jesus has done for us and that we are free in Him!

I say let's be believers and actually start believing in what Jesus has done for us.

John wasn't saying, if we confess our sins, we would be forgiven once and for all.
He was saying, every time we sin, we have to confess that we have sinned.
The Greek meaning for "Confession ", is,
Agreeing with God and saying the same as God.

Now look at 1 Jn 1: 8--10. And keep the Bible in it's right context.
Also, the Greek Bible tense for " Forgiven", IS, OUR past repented sins have been forgiven, and our present and future sins will be forgiven when we repent.

So you can see that the false grace teachers, will never be forgiven, as they never repent or confess their sins.

You have just added your own religious beliefs to 1 John 1:9 ...it does not say what you said here "OUR past repented sins have been forgiven, and our present and future sins will be forgiven when we repent. " ...this is your own words here.

Forgiven in 1 John 1:9 is in the aorist tense which is past all the time only when used in the indicative form...this is in the active form - which can mean an on-going thing.

Here is a quote about the aorist tense.

Remember that Greek tenses indicate not only time of action, but more especially kind of action. The aorist tense is a secondary tense, and accordingly, in the indicative mood it indicates past action. In other moods, it does not indicate absolute time, and often does not even indicate relative time.

Every time people show you what the Bible says, you say it's our opinions.
You can have your opinions, but we will believe the Bible.

Well..the reality is it is your opinion what you interpret what the Bible says...We can say the same thing to you - people can say the same thing that they believe the Bible and what you have is your own opinion. Saying "we believe the Bible" doesn't mean we have the interpretation of it.

The problem with the false grace teachings, is, Nowhere in the New Testament Church does the sinner gave to confess their sins.
Confession of sins us for the believers.

So, every time we sin, We, "The believer ", has to confess our sins and repent.
You should forget what the false grace teachers say, as they are the end time deceivers, and their doctrines are the same as the Nicolaitions, which Jesus hates.

Joseph Prince, "A false grace teacher", said the only qualifications that we need to go up in the rapture, Is to be here when it happens, then he said,
You don't have to be faithful or holy, just on earth when Jesus comes for us.

And that IS NOT what the Bible says.
J Prince is a deceiver.
