Pay money to stand around awkwardly for a couple hours.
or
Play paintball in the woods with night vision goggles.

The choice was obvious.

Yeah, sure. Well do it this sunday, youll have to be in the U.S. by then : p

And oh, a friend of a friend of mine had his wedding in the woods here in my state, they had it in one of our forests. I thought it was gonna be way cool, being out in the middle of nowhere like that. But it ended up being all formal and we sat in the lounge the entire time, was disappointed : p Like what was even the point of being out there anyway : p

Sounds like a plan. :D
Can I be your flower girl? LOL

I went Junior year. I went because I was tired of my parents asking me every week if I was gay. I figured going to prom would shut them up. It did.

We went to supper, ate, went to prom, had this picture taken. We didn't dance. She wanted to leave early to go to a party. I said "no". I told her I would drop her off at her house and she could go do whatever. She agreed. I dropped her off, then went home. I was out of the monkey suit by 9:30 pm. Prom, DUN. Ta-Da!

I didn't bother with Senior Prom. Blech.

Your date looks like my friend Donna. For a minute I thought it was her. I don't think that's possible because Donna is my age and by the time you went to prom it would have been illegal for her to take you to prom. Donna doesn't do illegal thing's and I think she was married pretty young.

I didn't go. A friend I had who was a girl asked me, and I heard that another girl wanted to go with me too. I just didn't bother with it. Not my thing.

I agree with everything here except what you said about the Wii, the Wii had a ton of games that I really liked : p Including the best Harvest Moon game ever : p I actually really really liked the console a ton.

Remember the horrible noise that dial up used to make? I hated that sound, weerreeweereebbddeeppwwrr, then if didn't connect, click. Then swear word, then werreerrbserrdeer. Dave made this web page for us when we were dating and he was at Penn State two hours away, we'd chat in there because it was cheaper than long distance. So we'd agree on a good time to talk and I'd get so mad when I couldn't connect, come on I'm going to be late, lol.

We should have a cc prom. Zero will you go to the prom with me?

Oh yes I hated that dial up sound too and you couldn't use the phone unless you had a cellphone. And everything took forever to download and the chat rooms always had someone message bombing people lol..

And lol I'd love to go to the prom with you! :D But only if its ok with Dave of course..

I was homeschooled and never went to prom... probably wouldn't have gone even if I had been in high school.

The closest thing to prom I ever went to was the Jr./Sr. banquet at the Bible college I attended. I wore a long, navy blue Satin sleeveless gown with a gathered skirt (almost brand new, a perfect fit, $10... thank you, Salvation Army!) with a ruffled black belt over a long sleeved black top.

I didn't ask him, per se... Lol... But I couldn't have asked for a better date. ^u^

Where I live they have an adult prom that some non profit has to raise money. An old friend of mine and her Husband go usually every year. She enjoys it. It looks fun.

I did not go to my junior prom, but went to my senior prom. The girl who I was madly in love with wasn't around school a lot that semester for reasons I won't get into. Another girl actually asked me. I said to myself, "Self...why not?" and so we went. I drove my mom's '65 VW bug. We ate at some restaurant that doesn't exist anymore. She had chicken piccata. I don't remember what I had. I have no idea why I remember that she had chicken piccata. The night was alright, I suppose...but not really my thing.

My Grandpa goes to a Senior Center in which they actually have a Senior Prom. I think they use the money to help fund the center...

I guess I never even answered my own question in this thread! I went to both my proms, though they were technically "Junior/Senior Banquets", seeing as I went to a Christian school and I guess the word "prom" was seen as too worldly.

I went with the same guy both times--my high school boyfriend, whom I was with for 4 years. We worked at Mickey D's together at the time (I was 17?) and I liked him because he was hard-working, fun to be around, and very caring.

I actually asked him out, and my junior prom was our first official date.

Those were the days... When I actually had a social life. :p

Unlike Catherder, I can't remember the important things... such as, what we ate. But I do remember what both my dresses looked like and that he was extremely polite.

He had a Big Mac with no pickles or onions because he thought there was a chance he would kiss you, and you had the filet-o-fish sandwich.
