So during the great CC shut down of 2016 yesterday I had a conversation with a fellow member about how we hear , CC is not a dating site. Technically it's not, however there have been quite a few matches over the years that have led to marriage.

I know there are some good stories. If you'd like to share, please do.

I met my lovely wife on this site. We posted progress reports as our relationship developed in the threads I created everyday until we were married. What better place to find a Christian spouse than a Christian site. I highly recommend using this site as a resource to find the one of your heart's desire. Of course, you should involved God in this process.

Those were the days. Ain't nobody never falling on hard times these days like them good ol' ole timers did...times they are a-changing;)
 
I met the love of my life Stephanie here in cc and I also gained two moms here who have loved me and cared about me far more than anyone ever has. I grew up not knowing the warm embrace and a loving mother and these two mom's I have will never know how much they mean to me.

All kinds of bonds are made here not just romantic ones my heart was damaged severely and the love of these two who adapted me as their own child healed that deep bleeding wound inside and I bet they had no idea exactly how far them taking me in went.

And as for Stephanie I am not prone to fall in love and she is very first to have ever made my heart melt just thinking of having a life and family with her makes my heart leap inside and I get giddy and full of excitement and joy. but the fact still remains cc is not a dating site

Yes.. we didn't even have a like button. And nobody knew how to post an image yet. Times was hard indeed...

That's what happens sometimes with community sites, though God can use it to connect people who wouldn't usually meet eachother, it's not the main focus. The fact God lets it happen sometimes is a wonderful bonus *winks at Blain*

#3 you have a wife? Or maybe that's the point. You don't have a wife therefore it's funny that you'd say you didn't meet your wife here.

You got it! I don't have a wife. Thus I of course did not meet my wife here.

An acquaintance of mine is a newsman for a radio station, and is always traveling all over the place. He is single. He will often say, "I went to (insert event here.) I didn't see my wife there.
