The constitution states that the government shall not establish any religion nor prohibit the free exercise of religion.
That does not mean that the church can have no part in how the government works nor that the church is not to influence from the bible what ethical standards should be expected and which standards are unacceptable.
Sodomy and abortion along with veracity are areas where the church is to establish the moral standard in and for the government.

We don't live under the old testament law for one and two we have redemption under the new testament which means we can be forgiven. Yes there are always consequences for our actions but dude you have a twisted theology and I suggest reading the bible in its entirety and ask God to open your eyes to it and you will soon realize you are way off.
I sincerely hope someone doesn't need religion to know it's wrong to murder someone.. and yes our constitution allows freedom for all religions.
I don't remember the exact wording of it but it says something along the lines of there will be no legislation passed to respect one certain religion or to infringe on the rights of any religion

I'm surprised no one has called you out on your re-write of the Constitution since you will not find the phrase "separation of church and state" anywhere in the Constitution. The constitution clearly says that Congress shall make no law that creates an official State church nor prohibit persons the free exercise of religion. The phrase "great wall of separation church between and state" comes from a personal letter from Thomas Jefferson to a pastor of the Danbury Baptists assuring them that Presbyterianism would in no way become the official church of the United States.
Interestingly enough, the writers of our beloved Constitution did not see it as a violation of the establishment clause to make adultery punishable by imprisonment, sexual deviancy punishable by death, promote the Bible and prayer in schools, etc...... I'm wondering if you are one of those people who would insist that the founding fathers didn't understand the Constitution (yes, they exist).
