Hey Everyone,

We've had a lot of threads asking people what their current usernames stand for or mean to them, but I was wondering what are some other usernames you might have chosen, and why?

"Seoul" (pronounced "soul") has almost always been part my my various usernames that I've chosen on other sites because it's the city I was born/found in, and represents a significant part of my history.

Some of my other variations on other sites have been "HeartandSeoul", "DragonsSeoul", and "SeoulOfaWoman" when I was in college. (I've never gone by "SeoulMate"--as a single person, it just sounds a little too desperate to me :p.)

I'm thinking that the next time I have to make up a username, I'm going to have to switch it up.

My current avatar was me as The Crow (1994 movie with Brandon Lee) this past Halloween, and the username I would choose to go with it would be, "TheBrokenDoll." I like that it sounds kind of mysterious... never mind that I'm pretty much an everyday garden variety kinda gal. :D

What other usernames would you choose, and what is the meaning behind them?

Mine is pretty obvious,
Just meaning the things you go through in life aren't permanent they will pass, and if you hold on you can get through them.

I might choose MusicalSoul for a username, because I love music.
GodsLittleSoldier is one I've used a few times; there is this quote that says God gives his hardest battles to his strongest soldiers. Basically just saying, I don't have the easiest life per say but I'll keep fighting and keep my eyes on God through all of that.
Aspen, because Aspen trees symbolize how nothing ever grows alone even if it may look like that (they have a conjoined root system)
 
One of mine would be Isaac, as it be me name.

A nick I have used on chatrooms before is Psalm_97 because I really like that psalm. If you've never read it, do.

I think one for me would be tiredMom, self explanatory I think. Another might be, Laundrystinks or wantdinner?cookityourself.
 
Gracious wanderer would probably be the next on my list of usernames. Basically it's the meaning of my first and middle name, but it seems like a good ideal to aspire to as well. Cinder (or previously cinderene) usually is free and since I'm not on many sites and not trying to pretend to be someone different on every site, I think I can use just the one for now.

Of course if I ever feel particularly annoyed with stupid people, I might need to make a bad attitude persona for my alter ego, I think then the username should be something obvious like deathtoidiots or moroncrusher. I don't know I'll have to think of a good superhero sounding type name should I embrace the heroic mission of eliminating stupidity.
 
Heartsearcher is a username I have used on other forums and for good reason, I always search my own heart even if what I find I don't like but I also choose heart searcher for another reason and that reason being I am one who craves to search the heart of God. In fact one night I had the most amazing dream in which I saw God standing before me and he reached his hands to where the heart is and his heart opened like two doors and he said search to your hearts content.

I wonder if he is prepared for that because I have a very greedy and hungry heart for him so he will have be aware that I am very thorough :)
 
I've used my current nick in various forms... but if I started from scratch I might choose TallDarkAnd. The rest is subjective. ;)

If you wanted to split hairs even "talldarkand" is subjective.

Tall? Compared to whom? Danny Devito or Wilt Chamberlain
 
I like phoenix as an alternative username because its amazing how a bird can rise to life from the ashes. And because I'm amazed by the most powerful telepath, Jean Grey from x-men. Other usernames on my list are Charlie's_angel, black widow, sidney_bristow, double agent etc. I want to be a spy obviously. Angel_in_disguise because I like angels.

Now THAT would be a dangerous set of usernames... What if we all had usernames that allowed other people to fill in the blanks???

DANGER, WILL ROBINSON!!!

Just imagine what kinds of answers we'd get with usernames like:

* YourMotherIs

* IKnowYouAreBut

* ImTooSexy4

Etc... D'OH!!! :mad:
 
Uhhh a friend of mine and I like to use matching names on skype (we have a chat group with other friends were a part of so it makes sense : p) and sometimes they can be pretty ridiculous : p

The last ones we had were "rainbow sparkles" and "aurora twinkles", and currently we are using the names "mabel pines" and "dipper pines" from the main characters of the cartoon Gravity Falls (were both way into it right now), and we even have their pictures as avatars, haha.

This would probly be better in the "dont judge me" thread though >.>
 
Hmmm, I don't know. As one could probably guess by my current username, I'm really not very creative...
