I'm not expecting to have kids, but if I did they would learn about Santa from the book the Autobiography of Santa Claus (a great history of the Santa legends as well as other Christmas traditions where Santa says several times that the most important part of Christmas is celebrating Jesus birth). And then I might just tell them that to save time Santa shipped his toys out early now in boxes from Amazon.
Look, kids!!! Out by the front door... Inside the mailbox... It's Santa-zon!!! :D

Yup. Me likey. :p

Santa has never brought me anything. I'm not expecting anything this year either. I'm not expecting anything good from the rest of the year.

I find that this is a sad post. I will say a prayer for God to bring good tidings your way.

I got my results for second school term and I got the highest distinction again. :D I am so happy I could swim in my tears of joy. I was very anxious because I knew my brain isn't capable of sustaining lasting knowledge so I know fully well, it was God's grace and favour alone. It still overwhelms me. I have two more terms left and when I get high distinction for all terms, I can get a full scholarship.

So, today, I'm gonna go shopping. Buy gifts, watch rogue one, buy more gifts, maybe have a haircut and get myself new pairs of shoes! Yay. Thank You Jesus!

I've realised I've allowed my parents to put pressure on me and I've compromised. when my parents felt very uncomfortable and disagreed with me like I said to my mum actually I do need close friends its not healthy for me to keep family problems all myself particularly really stressful ones ie. Last night.
I mean our churches go on about that all the time so by not compromising its freeing obeying God as a adult its not natural for I'm an introvert Sometimes unfortunately it can be real frustrating when my mum particularly doesn't agree I've learnt about I about her more and her family upbringing - her brick wall generation parents they weren't allowed to express their feelings to their parents they were shut up if they ever disagreed with their parents and a record was played if you don't have nothing good to say don't say it and on the record would go when my aunties and her fought. And I don't want and won't be bringing that into my future marriage nor when I have kids.
So its actually freeing to share family struggles, life with close friends. Its ok when you obey God and people such as parents are unhappy and won't apologise and think your wrong.I care I hear them I understand their feelings but extremes of being rebellious and fighting with your parents all the time or the introvert kind lol yes Dad yes mum a 90% of the time compromising and God is like did you ask me?
#Within reason#withinbalance# love and submission for parents but I've gotta stand up for myself too.

Hmph. I'm not too crazy about this new Santa-zon. The old Santa at least delivered on time, every time. You could count on it being there on Christmas Day. This new Santa-zon, no telling when the gifts will come. Might be on time, might be late, might be a couple days early. Much less predictable than the old Santa.

Hope, a positive expectation of good, sometimes is all we have. But it is enough for Jesus to continue making miracles!
Thanks guys. Sad to say, but I've kind of lost hope. If I don't expect anything from anyone, I'm either right, or I'm pleasantly surprised. I'd rather have no hope at this point, than have my hopes get ground into the dirt, like they have all year.

I hope you and you're kid's are okay. I'
Kids are okay, if you don't count having to deal with their exhausted mother. I'm living in my mom's house now, because we can't afford propane to warm up the camper. I'm an introvert and my mom is an extrovert. I am so unbelievably drained right now.

Isn't your hubby getting you something at least? If not, then he better have a good reason.

If he is getting me anything, I will be insanely surprised. I don't think he's even thought about it. His good reason is "I didn't think about it", or "I didn't know you wanted anything". I can almost guarantee that's what will come out of his mouth, if I ask him.
However, my family doesn't celebrate Christmas. We celebrate Christ's birth in April, because there's more evidence supporting his birth in April... That being said, HIS family does celebrate Christmas....... Now that I think of it.... My husband has never got me a Christmas present either. Santa and him must have been talking and decided to ignore me. I've been bad apparently.... I even got coal this year, albeit, in September, but I still got coal. AND A LOT OF IT!!! Wow, I must be horrible. I'm okay with that though, it will warm my house, if I ever get it.

I was concerned. The "Stream" was dry for eight hours and almost fell off the first page!

All is well. The flow has been restored. The drought is over. We will now continue with our scheduled program.
