And you realize, of course, that you have misinterpreted John 3:13 - because Jesus (identifying Himself as the Son of Man here) is, in fact, declaring that He did descend from Heaven, and that means that your interpretation of John 20:17 is incorrect.
Had Jesus ascended up to heaven at the point? There is no scriptural evidence to support such a conclusion. Yet in the passage Jesus it is written he said , "that no man had ascended up to heaven but he that came down from heaven." Yet it is written that in Matthew 1:20, " for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost."
Even in Luke 1:35 it is written, "And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God."
I don't know how any more clearer that it could be written that the Holy Ghost is only begotten of the eternal God, and you are right the term 'begotten' does not mean born or created. I am not telling you to believe this or believe that but since you pointed out the fact that begotten doesn't mean born or created, I thought I was show you some scriptures which make it difficult for me to accept your interpretation.
And Jacob begat Joseph the husband of Mary, of whom was born Jesus, who is called Christ. Matthew 1:16
Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: Matthew 1:18
Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice. John 18:37
And the last point being regarding the passage of John 3:13, Jesus referred unto the Son of man who even was in heaven, yet if Jesus was referring unto himself, which is contrary to what is written in John 5:31, "If I bear witness of myself, my witness is not true." then where was he said even the Son of man who was in heaven, on earth or in heaven?
