I did NOT say there where any ugly babies. That was used for example purposes only, and my words where taken out of context.
You said "If I see an ugly baby or a kid..." so I thought it meant you have seen ugly babies or kids (in your opinion). I did not mean to take your words out of context.
The way I understand the word "if", that word means there is a possibility. So when the word "if" is used, that suggests to me that in your opinion, there is the possibility of seeing an ugly baby or child- that they exist in your frame of reference.
For example, I could say "If it rains, I will need my umbrella." To me, the word "if" means there is a possibility.
I think I am probably a little more strange than most people, as I zero in on the precise meanings of words.
