I gotta ask, who on the right is claiming we shouldnt treat people fairly and equally?
I am on the right and I believe that people should be treated fairly and equally. I'm sure that there are others but they can speak for themselves.

Tend to be more conservative with economics and more liberal with social issues, but not liberal with anything that goes counter to Gods commands, laws and statutes.

Ummm... this thread threatens to become BDF material. You know, Bicker and Debate Fodder.

Therefore I shall refrain from commenting further. :)

Thing I tend to forget when chatting in forums is to just ignore arguments sometimes.

There's definitely a big difference between politics and theology.

Theology is a 3. Politics it really depends on the issue.

I'm opposed to the classic Christian things, but I think you Americans are nuts for not having universal healthcare.
I'm probably around a 5. Stuey - responding to your uninvited opinion, the issues with healthcare in USA are its unwieldy nature. The population is too big. There's more people currently drowning just in Texas than the whole population of Australia. It'd be like Australia and Indonesia and Viet Nam agreeing on a policy. I've often thought each State would have a better chance of devising their own health care policies. Probably nothing like the uninspired universal care but something encompassing of a diverse public - like several policies meeting the needs of individuals with outlets for people who can't afford.

How far would you put yourself on conservative/liberal scale from 1 to 10.

1 being "women are to cover their heads in church" and 10 being "my church has a gay polygamist preacher"

I put myself at a 3.
Well...I'm not cover your head conservative, but I am chooses not to wear pants/shorts out of the house conservative. ..so that probably puts me at 2

Even simple treatment is ridiculously expensive, I had to get seven staples into my scalp in an E.R. and got charged over $1000.00, even though they didn't exray my head, then it was around $100.00 to get the staples removed. If medical treatment had a lower price tag there might be less unpaid bills.

Next time I have a head wound I'll fix it up with some duct tape. Lol.

An unpopular opinion, I'm all for women leading, it makes no difference to me as long as what they preach and act is if doctrine. I'm young so I obviously see the world differently than most here, in all for student aid and governmental assistance. I believe in love, tolerance, peace and unity, basically we are all equal. When it comes to politics I'm a 5 or a 6. When it comes to theology I'm a 4
