I believe this form has outlived his usefulness. And it sets a bad example for Christianity. If you want a non-Christian to login and think Christians are window licking idiots then the conspiracy forum is good for that

Indeed! Even an unbeliever can read the Bible and see those in that forum are way off.

The Conspiracy and Corruption Forum was specifically created (and will continue to exist) is to keep the insanity off by itself rather than permeating throughout all the forums like it used to.

Ok got a question. What’s crazier having a conspiracy forum or going in to it knowing that it drives you crazy.

Why would a non-believer want to convert to Christianity after looking at the conspiracy forum and thinking Christians are Stark raving lunatics?

That would just be another excuse for them in their minds not to repent of their sins and accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.

They already have the rest of the forum for that. ;)

Sorry Dude, I understand your point and was just trying to make a joke.

It's just that right now, there is a firestorm thread going on about the Big M, so whenever you go to the front page of CC and it lists the most current posts, they're almost always in response to this particular thread about this particular subject.

Any non-Christian who visits even just the homepage on CC at this current time might think this is what most Christians always talk (and argue about), which in itself doesn't leave someone with the most wholesome impression.

I'm not saying we shouldn't talk about such things, I'm just saying that even if the Conspiracy section were to be eliminated, we have plenty of other fodder here that will still make people think Christians are stark raving lunatics.

What's with this conspiracy to delete the Conspiracy forum? If the Conspiracy forum is deleted then there will be dumpster fire conspiracy threads polluting the rest of the CC forums. Keep it—it serves a useful function!

Guessing you missed OnceFallens post where he explained that and said the forum would stay.

Hello. Dude I don’t like much of what goes on it the conspiracy forums, but as mentioned above it serves as a filter for the rest of the site . Without it the rest of the board will be filled with what is contained in one sub forum. That would Make managing the site harder than it is now for the mods . Moderators may have to delete posts ,ban folks or leave the things as they are posted . Neither is a pleasant alternative. They already have a hard unpaid job here. Ownership has taken the best approach in my opinion. Also as far as what unbelievers think . I was a atheist some years back . I would have thought that the prayer and the Bible forum was just as crazy .

The conspiracy forum can stay, far away from me,though I've posted a few times without realizing it,I don't like all that rattling of the brain to try to solve mysteries that may not even be there!

CC threads are often like different channels on TV, ie drama, history, soap opera,
current affairs etc.

I see the conspiracy forum as the loony tunes or cartoon channel, a bit of
light entertainment when I want a laugh. :)

I'm with you Miri. When I began to question my sanity, I go there, read the nonsense, and reassure myself that I am OK.

I feel like I lose at least 10 points of IQ every time I look at the conspiracy forum

That's why I'm never venturing into the conspiracy forum. I'd be out of IQ after one visit.

1. I could make so many jokes about this statement, but I'll let it go this time since you're being serious.

: )

2. I support the conspiracy forum because it makes me laugh.

3. Dude, you're still my favorite liberal, and I never ever want you to leave CC... teasing you is one of my favorite things.

Hope you've been doing well bro.

I've only been in there a few times, and I left shocked and shaking my head.

Keep it for sure, but rename it:

Safe place for the delusional to talk about nonsense!

Most non-believers think we are nuts anyway and regardless--> like Abraham said.....If they will not believe based upon the word, they will not believe no matter how many corkscrew ball, cockamamie conspiracies they read in the conspiracy forum....

Oh wait....I quoted that wrong.........

I like the conspiracy forum....especially since you are a walking, talking conspiracy ;)
