Welcome Kevin, the reason you have problems with this question is because the whole premise is wrong. The Bible uses carnal teachings to explain spiritual lessons. Once your eyes are open you can see the flaws, not in the words, but in how to understand it.
Let’s use a different analogy. Your body “creates” cells to serve the body for a function. As designed these cells work synergistically to moderate our health and maintain homeostasis. Let’s say a cell “chooses” to act on its own. Instead of fulfilling its role it eats indiscriminately and reproduces uncontrollably. The body has natural ways to fight cancer but if they are compromised the cancer continues, infecting all other systems that your body has created. So you get radiation/chemotherapy to kill everything then hope the cancer doesn’t return....but it does.
Are you with me? We are the cancer. Just like the cancerous cells behave selfishly ignoring their purpose apart from the system, we have also. Don’t confuse what is metaphor in scripture with what were actual events. I will warn you ahead of time, most Christians are reading but not perceiving. Many will disagree with me and miss the point, just like they did with Christ. They disagreed and misunderstood up to the point of killing Him. At least you can identify there are unreconcilable flaws with interpretation.
